Great Mic Stand for a Gift!
I bought this mic stand as a gift for my father-in-law, and he’s really liked it! It’s super easy to set up, and it didn’t take him long at all to get it ready for use.The height adjustment is smooth and flexible, making it easy to get just the right position. It feels really sturdy too — no wobbly parts, and the weight is just right so it’s stable without being too heavy to move around. The threads for the mic attachment are great quality, and everything feels solid and well-made.All in all, it’s been a great addition to his audio setup, and I’m really happy with how it’s held up so far.

IT'S STURDY.
I bought one just before this one and it turned out to be a disappointment. I had to return it. Which Amazon makes very easy to do. So I bought this one hoping for a good product. It's too early to tell if this will hold up under the actual work conditions. It feels sturdy and it might be just the one I need. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient mic stand that's easy to carry. I have high hopes for it.

Dial it tightly.
Overall satisfactory. You really have to tighten the cross arm or else it gradually slips once you add a microphone. I wish the cross arm was longer.

Don't buy for Rode NT1
Compatible with the Rode NT1 5th gen. It's not strong enough to withstand the weight of the Rode NT1 5th gen at an angle of any kind except straight up. It keeps sliding or almost falling over. Not sturdy at all for my microphone. Yes, I have tightened all the knobs etc.I don't recommend it. it will be good for lighter microphones. I'm looking for a new one
