Junk!
It worked great for a week and a half. Although the cord was very hot the whole time. I had a 150w bulb in it and now it's not working. Tried different bulbs and outlets. I don't have the original packaging so can't return it 😤 don't waste your money and read the rest of the reviews with the same exact problem!!

Junk, not wattage rated properly.
Rated for 300 watts??? I put a 250 watt heat lamp in it and after an appalling short time it stopped working. The cord was very warm to the touch and the switch was even hotter and smelled of burnt materials.

Overheated within 2 days
Even running a bulb below the wattage requirements I noticed the switch was getting extremely hot which was cause for concern. By the end of the second day the fixture blew completely. I would be concerned about the safety of using this in any enclosure due to potential fire hazards and malfunction.

Worthless
Installed it everything was great.....for three days then it just stopped working. Took it out put old fixture back in (with same bulb) and we had light

Reptile Heat Lamp Housing
Great product! Works perfectly when mounted inside an enclosure.

Fire Hazard
We used this exactly as intended, for a lizard heat lamp and it started a fire in the house. The switch was made with cheap material. That is where the fire started. It almost destroyed my house and family.

Stopped working with him a day
Set it up on Saturday and when I checked it the next day it had stopped working. Luckily I also had a brooder lamp that kept everything warm.
