It works fine and is at a good price but it has fine filter pores so be prepared to maintenance it once a week or it will get completely clogged and not allow for any flow

Got these so my filter doesn't suck up any babies that might appear in my tank and it hopes of slowing down the flow of the pump along with it sucking up all the food before my fish can eat it and so far it's worked great. Not sure if you're supposed to rinse them first, which I didn't and it created a white cloud in the water but was quickly absorbed and nobody lost a life but would maybe recommend rinsing them first. It was worth the purchase and they fit great.

This is fine/dense sponge that filters very well and fits snug on my intake. The problem is that because it is so dense it shut my filter down after 5 or 6 days because it was full. I like the product but it means I'll be cleaning it more often unless I swith to a less dense sponge.

Too large for nano - 10g tanks. I don’t even think I’d use it for a 20g, bigger tank they could do I suppose
