Looks great but because the plastic is soft the computer vibrates and rattles.

The media could not be loaded. The item looked fine on unpacking and was easy to install however it was at that point that I started to be disappointed.Firstly due to the shape of the end of the bracket, the squared off bit, this meant that I couldn't mount my light on it, now I know this is not sold as a light mount but my light will fit on the standard Garmin mount without any issue.Then when I did install my Garmin Edge I found the bracket to flex quite a lot and I can imagine it flexing while trying to operate the touch screen while riding, something that would worry me.Also while the bracket holds my Garmin Edge very securely, it's so secure that trying to turn the Edge device to unclip it makes the bracket flex alarmingly.If you are happy with the flex and want an inexpensive (compared to the genuine Garmin) mount then this item does the job, but for me I just wasn't happy with the amount of movement.

I have a very expensive aircraft aluminium mount on my road bike but was using a stem mount on my XC bike. I replaced the stem mount on the XC and this does a decent job. The mount is light and fitted securely. I'm a little worried about the retaining screw, but no problems so far. If you have some thread lock, it might be worth adding a drop when installing.The mount is strong enough for the small, light Garmin 500 I use, but for a large touchscreen modern Garmin it might be rather flexible and metal mount would be required, but quite frankly the amount that is being charged by other manufacturers borders on the abusive. This mount's strong point is the price so I'd say a practical alternative for most of us.No GoPro mount options, but perhaps the high price for other mounts which have this is a licensing fee? In my view, the GoPro mounts are probably the worst design you could come up with, so plan to avoid any accessory which uses them in future - probably no loss for those of us who have had to struggle with them.All in all, a good value mount. Will be keeping it on the bike.

Cheaper than all of the other choices. Comes with a couple of rubber spacers, but wasn't needed on my standard 31.8mm bars. I don't know how it will hold up with a heavier, bad-ass $800 Garmin, but it was perfect for my Coospo budget, smaller speedometer. Seems to be pretty much the same as the other $20-30 mounts. If you want to secure your $800 Garmin, I'd say you'll have to spend much more.

It works great with my Garmin Edge. It stays in place and you can easily insert and remove the Garmin computer.

I deducted a star because it takes an excessive amount of torque to release my Edge 25. It goes in easily and works fine otherwise.

As an avid bicycle rider, I've had a Garmin Edge 530 cycle computer for a few years now. A mount very similar to this was included in the kit with the Edge 530; but with five bicycles that I split my time riding, I had need of some extra mounts for my other rides. This mount is very similar in looks and build quality to the Garmin factory mount; and the Edge 530 mates up with it's retention tabs perfectly. This mount holds solidly and didn't allow the Edge 530 to dislodge or bounce free from it's mount even on aggressive mountain bike rides including jumps and drops. Considering the affordable price, I believe I'll be getting a couple more.
