Nice scent. Leaves hair very soft & easier to comb when wet. Thick & applies nicely. It's my go to fave! I pay a bit more for it than past products, but definitely worth it for beautiful hair! I get lots of comments. Doesn't strip my hair color as fast as other brands. Will continue to buy!

This shampoo & conditioner gives me salon-quality results. I have fine, frizzy hair because I'm mixed race (black and white). I got Mom's fine texture and a little of Dad's curls. The result is dry, frizzy, and thick hair with an oily scalp. Most conditioners weigh my hair down, but not this.The problem is conditioners that moisturize my hair also make it limp. It gets oil fast, especially when I straighten it. I was lucky to be able to wash it every other day with my old shampoo. Now I'm only washing my hair 2-3 times a week. The gross oiliness is under control and my hair is soft and moisturized.The only downside is the scent is very strong--a dead giveaway that it's not a salon brand as they have little to no scent. The strong smell lasts until my next shampoo. I have had problems with strong scents making me headache and nauseous in the past. Surprisingly, this brand doesn't do that, but I wish it was unscented. It smells nice, but I want to smell like my perfume, not my shampoo.

My hairdresser says my hair has lots volume, by volume she means 'lots' of hair but it is lacking in any natural body. My hair is stick straight and needs styling product help. Since my hair gets tangled after washing sometimes it needs conditioning to smooth it out and help with detangling and/or combing. Some liquid conditioners can be too heavy or weigh it down even more. I use this Loreal Conditioner after rinsing and towel blotting my hair. I will rub several pumps between my hands and apply from the mid section of my hair down to the ends, letting it remain on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing out. My hair is much easier to comb. I have to use some styling product to get it to stay in place and hold a curl. However, it feels better using this conditioner and not weighted down or coated feeling like some conditioners and there seems to be less frizz. It is a 28 oz. bottle too so it will last for quite awhile. The only difficulty with a pump bottle is, though, that product remains in the bottom and can be hard to get out sometimes unless the cap is removed and you try to dump it out. My husband uses a sharp utility knife to cut off through the mid-section of the plastic container when this happens so I can get the remaining product out. It would also be nice to find a smaller size bottle to pack for travel.

Tried this because I couldn’t find garner fructise volume extend conditioner. Said it was good for fine straight hair, so I tried it. But this is nothing like volume extend, which leaves my hair feeling healthy and tangle free with good volume. You have to be careful to not wash this conditioner all out, or it will feel like you’ve used no conditioner. My hair seemed stripped and the end 10 inches were like straw after a week of using it like regular conditioner (and I have oily hair that I need to wash daily). Once I figured out to carefully not wash most of it out, it was ok. Thank goodness I found volume extend again.

I've tried a lot of brands and this one keeps my hair soft. Gives my straight hair some life. Good value.
