Tabbed Board Books: My First Trucks and Diggers: Let's Get Driving! (My First Tabbed Board Book)

Wow, in a week, this has become my 2yo’s new favorite book. He has been really into cars and trucks, pointing them out in all books and in the street. I got him this book so he could see different kinds of vehicles, and boy does he love it. I like the bright colors, tabs, and pictures that are photos of real-life (versus cartoons or drawings). He can’t say any of the names yet, and honesty I have never even heard of some of them before, but he likes pointing to each picture and having me read the names. One bonus is that he started identifying his colors from the “colorful trucks” page of this book! We had tried to teach him colors before, but it didn’t seem to really stick until we got this book. One thing I would have preferred is for the corresponding pictures on the “opposites” page to be next to each other. For example, one truck would be “new” and the other “old”, but they’re not next to each other for easy comparison and just randomly placed on the page. Having them side by side would have made for easier differentiation for learning minds. Other than that, if the kiddo likes this, then we as parents like it!

Bought it for my 2-1/2 year old grandson who loves construction vehicles and trucks. He wouldn't sleep without it beside him for the first few weeks. he says it's his favorite book. It's sturdy, well made, pictures are clear and vibrant and the pages are engaging.

Nice little book for toddlers. Learn the types of trucks and equipment. Colorful pages.

Our son absolutely loves this book and “reads” it every night. There is a variety of various trucks and themed pages, which makes it very engaging. We find ourselves gravitating towards certain trucks of course, but it’s a good little read. I really love the size of the book, it’s a little oversized thanks many board books, but watching him lug it around is adorable too!

This is a very cute book. Very colorful, has pictures of all of the trucks and vehicles my grandson loves naming. Sturdy pages.

I ordered this book for my 18 month old son, because he loves trucks and wheels! I was pleasantly surprised with how many different trucks and vehicles are in this book! It's a perfectly sized, sturdy board book with lots of bright, colorful pictures of all kinds of trucks and work vehicles! My son absolutely loves it! I highly recommend this book!

My 2 and 4 year olds love this book. I wish they used consistent terminology for the vehicles. They call the same vehicle excavator and digger. There are waste collection vehicles, waste disposal trucks and garbage truck. There are 8 pictures of dump trucks. I would have preferred more varieties but there are still many vehicles featured and all of the expected favorites.

My two-year-old grandson has this book memorized. He loves for us to look through it. It didn't take many readings before he could name each vehicle. This book is not a story. It is comprised of colorful photographs of different types of work trucks, farm machinery, construction equipment, and fire and emergency vehicles. Many I didn't know the names of before. If the little boy in your life loves trucks, this is the perfect book!

My almost two year old grandson, Sam, LOVES his DIGGER book. The day before it arrived the family had taken a walk and Sam saw a real digger working. When he saw it on and in his book he was beyond delighted ! My daughter thinks it's a great book too.

Wonderful book. The entire book has hardcover and has laminated pages. Hence, it is made for rough and tough use and spill proof. The pictures are very colorful and vibrant. Overall, this book is one of best buys. My kid loves it and will not leave it for a bit. Great product. I would strongly recommend it.

My 18 m.o. son is a big fan of big vehicles and he was reading another book about transport for a long time every day. Since I bought him this book, he forgot about the previous one and is reading it really every day! The book is made of very thick paper, not easy to destroy (already tried :-)) so I really recommend it!

My son's favorite book. Good quality. This book has been highly used and still looks great. Pictures are very high quality.

Da wir zweisprachig erziehen, mein Mann allerdings nie einen Bezug zu Baufahrzeugen hatte (und somit auch die englischen Bezeichnungen nicht sicher wusste), haben wir dieses Buch bestellt. Und siehe da: Papa und Sohn kennen bereits alle Fahrzeugbezeichnungen in- und auswendig :-) Super Buch!
