Value for money - I love having this option!
I'm very happy with this purchase. It's ideal for cool or rainy days when I still want light and some view.Bear in mind there is distortion like looking up from underwater, but it's actually a pretty effect. It can sometimes make a soft, subtle squeaking noise in the wind, and takes a few seconds more to fold than the standard rainfly because of the nature of the material. But, it's made with the same excellent quality as the tent itself, fits securely and attaches easily with a yellow toggle to get it started, and comes with a stuff sack for storing it or the standard rainfly. It does act like a greenhouse panel under direct light, which can be a benefit on cool days, but I wouldn't recommend it on hot sunny days. That's kind of the point though, that it's great to have options to customize the top of this tent in three different ways with this addition to meet all conditions and preferences. As for condensation or leakage, I have seen absolutely none after several days of rain and wind on both hot and cold days. Plus, on rainy days, it's really nice to have the extra light and to watch the rain falling on it.I also think it offers better insulation on cold nights, making it both brighter and cozier in the tent.I feel I got a lot of value for about $20 and would definitely recommend it.

Not very good
It fit perfectly but condensation collected under it so my tent wad leaking in the morning. Don't recommend you use as a replacement for the top. Temporary to star gaze maybe but switch it out for the original before going to sleep.

Highs and lows
It's usually minor, but when it rains the roof start to dip pretty majorly. It's nice to have though, and the structural issue has more to do with the tent.

This is clearly a topper and not a tent.
Exactly what I wanted, going camping this weekend to test it out! Just wanting to write that this is CLEARLY a cover for the top of the tent. I read throughout the page, also the company emailed me as well to let me know this is not the tent.I don’t know why people thought they were buying a tent. This is a topper, not a tent. So read a little so the company doesn’t have to forewarn other people, who clearly cannot read that this is a topper. Not a tent.

Not what I thought
This is very small. I just assumed it would be sturdy and bigger.
