Model kit with great quality

I built this kit as a gift for my wife. She wanted this specific year Chevy done up like the prolific Christmas decoration - A little red truck hauling a Christmas tree. This kit is very detailed. The instructions are great, with a nice mix of diagrams and written explanations. The plastic is substantial without a lot of molding-flash or warping. I will definitely build this kit again someday in a different style. I highly recommend it.

The hit is very nice… basically a nice curbside kit. I just wish there was more detail for the interior, and wish it had an engine. But all in all, glad I have it.

This was my 14 year old daughter's first model vehicle. She likes vintage items and so this vehicle was attractive to her. Since this was a first build, she learned reading diagrams, painting small parts, gluing, assembly and badging. While the final version was not perfect and it took her a few weeks to finish, it inspired her to continue building many more models. Now model building is officially one of her favorite hobbies!

The kit is okay, I had to order a second one because about half of the parts were deformed or warped, and I still had trouble with parts not fitting right however, I'd say it's definitely for a more experienced builder due to most of the parts not fitting right but the finished product was worth the extra money and work. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the end result is so nice
