MAKE UP FOR EVER Duo Mat Powder Foundation 202 - Translucent Beige

I used to exclusively use bare essentials/mineral makeup however I had to get steroid injections in my back last November and broke out like a teenager for several months. This was utterly embarrassing since i'm 38! At any rate, I went to the Sephora and explained my problem, which was obvious, and they suggested this product. I tried it at the store and it seemed good so I bought it. I have been using it ever since! Now that my face has once again cleared up, which took about 4 months!, it works even better than it did to cover my imperfections! It seems to make my skin glow! I love it. It covers and fills those little lines and stays on very well all day or night. I do need to reapply if I go all day and decide to go out in the evening also but it probably isn't necessary, except that I love that fresh look I get when I do it. I do not have great skin but this makeup makes me look like I do! I have used it with both a primer and without and either way it works great! It never looks caked, and it never looks orange, but part of that is also going to be going to a physical location, like Sephora, or Ulta, and taking the time to have them match your skin so you know what color you need. It isn't the same with every product so it's worth the trip to the store once to find out. This is not a powder compact that you apply over a base, it is the base and powder in one. It is really the best. I have nothing but good things to say about it!Overall this makeup feels like it's not there when applied, gives a smooth appearance, and covers flaws very well. If you have open acne it will show through but nothing is going to cover that 100%, sorry girls, but it certainly did make it appear much smoother and allowed for me to show my face in public while I went through that horrible time in my life! Also I can attest that it doesn't cause any blemishes since mine cleared up perfectly while I used this! Highly recommended!!

I'm a huge fan of Makeup Forever products. This powder is great but more for evening wear as it does go on a little cakey. Overall I love it for occasional use.

Ok so I know shopping online isn't always (if ever) cheaper than the animal cages that are crowded-tourist-laden-urban-gentrified-shopping-centers, but I coulda sworn I was getting a deal. Ended up paying ninety-nine cents more than in store BUTit was money well speant cuz I didn't have to look at you.

I have been using it for over 7 years now. Works great on my oily skin.

I wear it over my foundation. I found that it sets my foundation and smoothes out imperfections. I bought this as gifts for my sisters because I like it so much. Great powder!

Gave this to the wife who thinks its a great product (like I'd know). My daughter saw it and I could tell she was eyeing it for sharing :D

This foundation gives really fantastic coverage and stays on all day. I don't find that I have to replace it and it doesn't make my skin oily.

Not a good product for oily skin.
