I've used this product many times before. It's perfect to give clothes a little tlc, make it look new again.Definitely recommend, especially for black clothing that tends to fade quickly in the wash

Easy to use, mess free

Dyed some black jeans. If you wanted to dye some jeans it's good to leave it inside the tub for a few hours more than the bottle suggests. In hot water. Good product I loved diy'ing my jeans!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Yeah.. I buy this dye all the time. I don’t always follow the instructions and usually add like too much but for most of my projects it’s worked very well, just not for synthetics.

I purchased this black dye expecting a rich, deep black finish, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. Despite following the instructions meticulously, prepping the fabric correctly, using the recommended water temperature, and allowing ample time for color adherence, the results were underwhelming. Instead of a true black, my clothing turned out a dull gray at best.For those looking for a “bold, dark black”, this dye might not meet expectations. It could work for achieving lighter charcoal tones, but that wasn’t the intended result. A more concentrated formula or improved pigmentation might help this product perform better.If you’re searching for a “true black dye”, I’d recommend exploring other brands or additional dyeing techniques to intensify the color.

Worked on. Maybe you need the setting chemicalFor it to work properly? I was trying to get some bleach spots out of black clothes. For cotton it was somewhat successful but not so much for the rayon.

Good product. I didn't give it 5 stars because of one issue. The company expects you to buy a bottle of something to set the dye that they sell. Unfortunately, it only shows in tiny print at the end of the dying instructions. Also, the places I found where I could pick up this dye didn't carry the product for setting the dye. There's a little Itty bitty disclaimer that without this second process, the color is likely to fade. The bottles should be sold as a pair.

Purchased 1. Then 2 more. If you follow the instuctions the color quality will be a success. Easy to use which is why I chose the liquid than the powder and it worked. Rit dye is a semi-permanent dye. While it provides a strong color that is not easily washed out, it can fade over time, especially with repeated washings, exposure to sunlight, or the use of harsh detergents. I am satisfied with the reasonable price and dye quality with the clothes I chose to recolor.
