This is not an expensive magnifying glass to be displayed on the desk. It is a light weight plastic magnifying glass that isn't tiny, but isn't big. I use them for when Im raising monarch butterfly caterpillars. The view is great. The extra optical spot shows really good close up images. I have purchsed another one (with a light) but it was big enough that it was hard to hold and clunky. I also didn't need a light. I was pleased that this one was a good modest size. (See dimensions, it's not miniature.) So in the end is is perfect for what I need. Eady to hold, good size to see and hang into, but not so big that it gets in the way of what I'm doing. In short, it works. If you just want a modest medium sized magnifying glass that you can use, this is the one! So glad it was smaller than my first pudgy fat clunky one. 5 stars for doing what it says it will do without interfering in the process. Totally fine value for the price. Perfect size in my opinion. Magnifies well.

I would buy it again - the magnifier bubble that is embedded in the main lense was perfect for finding a tiny splinter in my finger.Photos of the magnifying glass are attached.

I own 3 different magnifying glasses, this little guy is my quick go to. It has a small round magnifier with a higher magnification that helps tremendously. I only gave it 4 stars because of the size and mag. # of the little area. If it was 2-3 times bigger and much more mag power, it would be hitting a home run. But it works!

I thought this would magnify more. There is a little circle on the glass that does magnify more, but it's hard to use. I need cataract surgery; difficult for me to see fine print, and most of the glass hardly magnifies.I guess you get what you pay for! This was around $10 or less. Meanwhile, I could use more magnification until my surgery. I couldn't read scale numbers, and can barely read expiration dates. Save your money.

It's like I expected it to. It's handy to have onhand to see things slightly larger. Good price.
