I like that it comes with extra scratch tape and that is easy to use . The size it great for any size pet. The quality is great. I don’t like that it is easy for my dog to open and get the treats out . The depth of it for the treats is small that’s it got to small broken up treats

This works great for the front nails but getting the grit paper off to replace it with new is nearly impossible as it’s glued

This doesn't even work. You can't even get the thing open to put treats in. It's literally just a scratch board, not being able to put treats in defeats the whole purpose of the dog being intrigued by it. Do yourself a favor & don't get scammed.

First, I need to note that I bought this for a band of cats. Two of the 4 have front claws, two have just back claws. None are let outside, so I'm always finding nails embedded in my carpet. I can't cut their nails because while I can pet them, I can't handle them.I have scratching posts, which they love, as well as cat trees with sisal. This scratch pad is the scratching posts on the 10th level. Marry sandpaper with the traditional sisal cat scratching posts, and you have this nail mat.At first, the cats had no idea what to make out of it, but little by little they approached it rubbed their paws on it, then started really scratching.It's a device in the arsenal of things I use. It won't be the only thing, as it is a little heavy duty for a cat, but when they really in a scratching mood, they go to town on this thing. So it's a win overall.My only complaint is with changing the pad. It's secure for the animals to use, but there's no easy way to change that pad.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this scratch pad for my beagle boy's nails. This is heavy wood, well made and the stick on sandpaper is pretty rough for grinding his nails down. Now just getting him to use it. I hide small pieces of food under the sliding door so he'll try to Scratch it open. It's hit and miss so far but I'll keep trying. It's definitely a good idea.

The nail scratch board is very sturdy. It doesn’t slide easily so a stronger smarter dog is required to open the hidden compartment. It comes with replacement adhesive emery paper. I attempted multiple times to train my 70lb dog to get a treat out of this, but unfortunately she was unable to use this as I hoped. It seems like a great training tool for the right kind of dog. It may help file nails, but since we weren’t able to get to that point I can’t review on the actual purpose.

So my dog figured out how to use his nose to just push it open, he has yet to use his paw on it even once. I like the concept and I could see how it could work for others, but my dog likes to get around things whenever he can.
