When I plugged in to a 2003 Audi, I was surprised that it did an auto VIN to read the ECU which my previous dongle didn’t do where I had to search manually.The device is very well-built and sturdy, and it feels like a professional tool. It comes with a one-year free software update, which is a nice bonus. The app is easy to use and navigate, and it provides clear and detailed information. The device and the app work together seamlessly, and the Bluetooth connection is fast and stable using my Samsung Android phone. With the tool it found that the status LED light very useful which showed the power, bluetooth connectivity and a status/communications light.One thing to note is that when you plugin in the device to a vehicle, you will need to download the corresponding vehicles database/packages to the app which did take around 15 minutes on my connection.I think this is a fantastic OBD2 scanner for the money and the features. It does more than my previous dongle I used to use and it helps me save money and time on repairs in the longrun. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do their own car diagnostics and maintenance or even understand faults that arise on vehicles before they take to a garage.I will keep reviewing this on other makes and models and see how I get on with those. I will update this review where required.

Great item and well worth the money. Was expecting a flimsy plastic piece of equipment for the price but it was metal cased and solid to hold. Quick connect, app is very easy to use and this can do everything my my touchscreen reader can do. Bought this to have handy in the car permanently and it’s been spot on when I’ve used it.If you’re after a cheaper scanner that’s portable and still gives you everything a bigger scanner would then this is perfect. Buy it!

This is a good product.It connects well with the car (BMW and Mercedes tested), and gives a very comprehensive breakdown, as well as real time running info.Also allows you to clear DTC codes, but unless the problem is fixed, they will re-occur.I used with an iPhone, and it worked seamlessly.No instructions included, but a huge number of non official YouTube videos which show you how to use it.Very competitively priced, but beware to use for longer than 1 year requires an ongoing subscription, which is why I knocked a star off.Overall a 5 star product, but beware of ongoing subscription requirements.

This is more than just a cheap eobd reader.This has high level access to your vehicle diagnostic information, and can also give manufacturer level access to most sub systems. Helps resetting inspection intervals, has reset DPF faults and ABS issues.This is a handy tool to have in your tool box instead of having to break out the expensive diag tools so some quick jobs.The app is easy to navigate and has regular updates.

As an MT that works at a main dealer(uk) this scanner by far exceeded my expectations and for the money there's really no excuse to not own one of these especially if you are a tech. Just sling it in your glove box of your car as never know when you will need it and it might save your #ss.Data steams works perfectly and can be graphed along with actuation testsA full module scan was far quicker than our OE scan tool 😮Having access to TSBs is great but found they are for the American market vehicles.

Wow what a spectacular rip off. The product itself is fine, although no beter than a £10 one! It's what happens after your year is up, if you want to use it again it'll now cost you another $49.99, and you can't use it unless you pay up, the device wont update and your downloads are gone. I'm not complaining that they cant charge for software updates but if you dont want or need them, removing your access to the old version that you'd previoulsy downloaded and paid for is, as I said to start with, a rip-off.

More than a basic scan tool everything that you need the most important reset function for your car fits in the size of your pocket , like the oil reset, new battery registration tool , electronic parking brake retraction function , etc , yes after one year of free use the device comes with multiple choice subscriptions but in my opinion the device is well worth the price!!

Easy to follow instructions and did exactly what I wanted it to do, saved me the hastle of booking into a garage and having to pay more than this product cost for the same result, very happy.
