Wasn't sure what to expect, but I like it.
I bought this watch band for an older Timex Expedition I've had for many years. The watch itself was made in what everyone today refers to as a "field watch." In fact Timex is still selling a watch that looks almost exactly like mine, but chances are it's larger in diameter, as the trend of late is to make watches look like you're wearing a dinner plate. It was a gift from my wife, and it quickly became one of my favorites to wear. Like many of today's field watches, it has a dark earth brown metal watch case, with an off-white creamy colored dial and clear, concise Arabic numerals at all of the indices. It also arrived wearing a comfortable watch band made up of khaki-colored cloth, with portions in military style olive-drab green and small areas finished in dark brown leather. This is a two-piece watch band that closes with a buckle-type clasp. It set the watch off perfectly for many years. Unfortunately, with the passage of those years the band was showing its age, and so I began looking for a replacement. Since most Timex watches are relatively inexpensive to start with, there usually are no exact replacement bands available (come on Timex, I'm still rocking the 21-jewel self-wind watch my mother got me back in 1963! You could be making beaucoup bucks selling original-style replacement watch bands for so many of your past iconic watches!). Anyway, I wound up trying a new nylon olive-drab modified NATO band for my Expedition. The look was different from the original, but it did look good and the price wasn't exorbitant. Unfortunately, too many watch band suppliers don't always give complete size information, and in my case the new band fit with the buckle being set at the next to the last hole to be comfortable. While this didn't make the watch band unusable, it did mean that the loose-end of the band didn't quite fit all-of-the-way through both steel keeper loops sewn into the band. That means they're fixed in place; you cannot slide them closer to the buckle, and that allowed the end of the watch band to frequently come out of the second keeper and hang out, loose. To me that says the band itself is too small for my wrist. I've had this problem with other bands over the years. When I happened upon the webpage for these braided bands and noted the size of wrists it should fit I ordered one in olive-drab. Well, these bands look different, and they are different. Not bad, just different. Once on the watch and then on my arm, they remind me of some of those woven metal watch bands they sometimes call "Milanese." If you've tried one of these bands then you know that once on, the clasp is barely noticeable, the band is exceptionally adjustable in sizing and there is no loose end of the band as typical buckle-type of watch bands have. I'm finding this braided watch band to be exceptionally comfortable to wear and does a fine job of keeping my watch in place despite the "stretchiness" of braided nylon. It does take a few adjustments to get the fit just-right, but this is an easy thing to do and takes just a few seconds. I like these bands, and for a very affordable price it makes for a nice change for your watch!

Great value - 1 year later
We had tried a lot of bands for my son, prior to trying this one. He loves the colors, and we immediately saw that his skin did not react to this band like it had to the previous ones. The smell was better than the other ones, although occasionally washing the band does help. Once adjusted, removing it and putting it on is quick and easy. If the latch somehow pops open, It's not as easy for the watch just to fall off and get lost - It hasn't popped open yet, but that was one of the things that helped me decide to get this band.

Adjustable watch strap
Very well made, easily adjustable. I gave it 4 stars because the strap is made of a stretchy fabric, which should be fine but I find that no matter how tight I adjust the strap it slips down my wrist. It could very well be that I have thin wrists and arms. The item is well made and sturdy so you give a try.Thank you

This one's a keeper...
The stock band for a new xtra cheap chinese sport's watch was raising blisters on my arm. Ordered the correct width by following the instructions for measuring. Simple. This new band arrived today. After fitting and sizing the new band, I must say OH YEAH. This one for sure goes down as one to try.

Perfect for Casio AE1200 (Royale/World Timer)
I have been hunting through a variety of straps for my Casio AE1200. You want something more durable and nice looking than thr stock one, yet one that is comfortable and can stand up to the elements. And one that fits the usually designed case. This, is the perfect strap!! By selecting the 18mm option you will get a strap that both firsts the case at the lugs but, looks perfectly wide in the band. It is light, and exceedingly comfortable. Yet, it also dries quickly. And seems relatively durable. To me, it is everything the watch itself is, cheap, cheerful, and useful. I would absolutely recommend this strap for anyone with a Casio of any kind but, especially, the AE1200.

Strike up the Band
To wrangle it the right way onto the wrist of this uncoordinated reviewer took 2 hours. First, how does it go? Then, how to get those 2 pins into the holes of the case? Finally, how to adjust it? My wife motivated me by suggesting we go to a jeweler, but my watch is too cheap for such company. Got it done. Like the slightly stretchy fabric and color. So, buy one and go to it.

Super comfy band!
Very comfortable watch band. Great for large wrists at a " in between " size. I'm not sure how long the plastic lug attachments will hold up on my work watch but for now it's a 10/10!

great precisely adjustable fit
Plusses: precise and comfortable fit which leads to more accurate pulse measurement; zero concerns about accidentally dropping/losing the watch if the band somehow openedMinuses: band doesn't dry immediately like the stock band
