Overall worked well, some minor problems with the hat and booties...
Overall we really liked the Suzzipad. The cold packs slide into the mitts and booties easily. The mitts fit really well... the booties are a little small and we bought the larger size so be forewarned. My husband wears a size 11 shoe normally, average width feet. His feet do fit in these, just barely, but because he barely fits them, it's hard to get the heel cold pad into its pocket (not that I think that particular cold pack is vital anyway). If your feet are bigger than Men's 11, I think you might struggle with the booties. The cold packs are nicely packaged in separate storage bags which makes it easy to freeze them and keep them all together and since it's a thick plastic, you can write your name on it easily for cold storage at your chemo facility. They stay very cold for at least an hour, but I recommend getting two sets of these anyway, because delays occur frequently and we often have to change out cold packs mid-infusion. I'm on the fence about the hat. It can't be frozen, only refrigerated and it doesn't stay cold as long. What I end up doing is having him wear one for about 10-15 minutes, then I pop it into our cooler and stuff it full of the spare ice packs and put the second hat on him for 15 minutes. I continue this rotation throughout the infusion. I also bought additional small ice packs to put under the hat during later rotations. The hat is comfortable and easy to put on. All pieces seem to be well constructed and so far have been doing the job. I would purchase again.

Baby it's cold in these
Needed these for chemo. I don't recommend chemo, but if you need to keep your hands and feet cold to shrink capillaries, these work very well. Working on new party games these can be used for a well, like who can keep them on the longest.

Get a 2nd set of ice gel packs!
They worked great… And I bought a size up so that I would have roominess and not have the ice right against my hands all the time. I can ball my hands up in fists for a minute, and then stretch them back out against the ice pads. You do have to order another set of the ice pads if your chemo is over 30 minutes. They are just under $40 here on Amazon. The packs will get warm enough where they won’t constrict the blood vessels like they should. My chemo lasts an hour, and they want me to start the cold therapy 15 minutes before, so this is the only way to make this work for me! Otherwise, into an ice bucket, my hands go! And the nurses will provide that, but I just ordered the extra pads to make it a little bit more comfortable. The only reason I gave four stars is because you have to order that second pack. The photo shows me at my chemo appointment, with my hands in the ice water because I only had one set of ice packs the first time. You won’t have to do this if you order a second pack I’m sure!

Great core pieces
A nice set. Will have to eventually buy another set to last a whole 'Chemo' session

chemo cool
These were helpful during chemo, but the heel kept coming out easy until we figured a tighter way to keep it in place. Stayed cool so that was a plus!

You’ll love these if you’re doing chemo and immunotherapy!
I loved using these during chemo and immunotherapy, especially the chemo cap! I felt like I was in a Spa instead of chemo!

They work.
They work. Just pure a barrier on your fingers. When in the gloves. I use them every session. The cold cap doesn't stay cold as long as the hands and feet because they are more ice packed. Not the cold foam (I think that's what it's made of). But it works for the time. If your bald, I'll suggest a barrier between your head and the cap just like the hands. For your feet I wear thin socks and them the pads. Get a isolated lunch bag to place them in when traveling to and from. Overall I am glad I have these for my treatment. Praying it continously help me to prevent neuropathy. Health is Wealth everyone. PRAYS!

Cold, well-protected, but takes a bit of wrestling to set up
My wife bought me the Suzie Pad set to wear during my chemotherapy sessions, specifically to help prevent peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet, as well as hair loss via the cooling cap. Overall, it definitely does the job of getting your hands, feet, and head properly cold. Here are a few thoughts from my first session: Cold Duration & Protection: The gel packs freeze quickly (taking only a couple of hours) and stay soft and pliable even when frozen solid. They held their cold exceptionally well—showing no signs of defrosting over my entire two-hour chemo treatment. The soft pockets also do a great job of protecting your skin from direct ice contact. Fit & Ease of Use: The gloves are straightforward and easy to get on, with wrist straps that keep the weight supported so they don't slip off. The beanie-style hat is comfortable and simple to put on. The Tricky Part: Getting the frozen packs loaded into all the pockets is a bit of a workout. The foot booties use a "sandwich" design (sole, top of foot, and heel). Inserting the rear heel pack in particular was quite fiddly to install before strapping everything down with the Velcro. As for long-term effectiveness in preventing neuropathy and hair loss, only time will tell, but the kit certainly keeps everything thoroughly chilled throughout treatment. A solid 4-star product—just be prepared for a little bit of prep work getting the gel pads into place beforehand!
