Very cool gadget! It is helping me immensely to rescue a puzzle from glue damage. I didn’t expect the light to be so powerful, with a variety of colors choices and intensity plus the magnifying glass is accurate. I purchased the battery powered one. This is a very good product. I use it for various needs - HO scale railroad models, currency, general magnification etc. The images are sharp and well illuminated. The charger works well. The small circular screen provides 30 X magnification, however the image will appear reversed unless focus is at a very close range. That' s not a defect but physical property of lens magnification.

This is exactly what I needed. Free standing, bright light. Easy to res pill bottles, coins and small print on food products. Really nice zippered, firm carry case. I would recommend this product. Perfect for

The build quality is actually nice. It has two hinges and both hinges don't have any play, there are some solid detents. Once in a detent position it's solid, no play, not loose.The magnification isn't high, the 30X claim is false and refers only to the smaller loupe in the middle of it. The big magnifier is not 30X. I knew that when purchasing this but still 1 star off for misleading product description.The smaller loupe is perfectly fine for up close inspection, but the FOV is not as big as something professional.There's a set of measurement ruler at the bottom that can be placed over whatever you are looking at, but the distortion of the magnifier makes it never straight. It's readable, but it just won't appear straight.For me it really only works with the light on, I find that in indoor lighting without the light, the image is soft. You need the light to make your pupil contract, which makes the image sharper. (I do need glasses)On the brightest setting it consumes over 10W of electricity. Batteries probably won't last long. There is an included USB cable but it's a barrel jack at the end so don't lose it, you won't have a replacement.This particular item is pricy but I really wanted a storage case and I'm hoping it resulted in a bit more quality.

Great little product, hands free standing and three light levels, plus there is an additional magnifier in the handle. Recharges using C type USB, the same as android phones.

I’ve been looking for a magnifier with these features for YEARS. Finally, I found a really helpful magnifier with real magnification at a decent size, clarity, and price. The light strength is good and the stand features will be really useful for hands free use for closeup work. The light button placement is an issue, but The adaptable will cope.Happy with this purchase!
