FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

Lifesaver in the Heat!Bought this cooling vest for high temp days on the job site, and it seriously makes a difference. It keeps my core temperature down, even in the blazing sun. Lightweight, easy to wear over a work shirt, and doesn’t restrict movement. Coworkers ask about it all the time.

Brought this for horseback riding in the FL. Heat, have used it a couple of times so far has worked well. Takes a couple of tries to get it to fit right. Overall pleased with it.

This thing has been so helpful during this heat wave! I haven’t worn it for more than about 45 minutes for brief yard chores but I wouldn’t have been able to do that without this thing. No regrets.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and work outside. I have had a couple versions of this vest and I prefer the gray workstyle one. I have several changes of ice to get me through a hot day outside. I am able to function fully wearing this vest- it isn't uncomfortable. It's a light as it could possibly be.I wouldn't be able to work without it. Grateful.If I were to change anything then it would be the shoulder strap system. It's bulkier than necessary especially since I'm short.I don't use the top two ice packs in the front. ;-) It is just more comfortable to me that way.The zipper is sturdy and the size adjusts easily (other than the clunky shoulders). When I was using the blue neoprene one from the same maker then I was able to remove the shoulder velcro and just sew it together.

I was surprised at how well this vest is made. It meets more than I expected. The quality of the material surpasses my expectations. I’m am so pleased with this vest and what it accomplishes by providing a cool environment for my Son. He has to work in over 105* driving conditions inside his work truck as a Trash truck driver. He bought the cool neck wrap also. He bought extra ice pack sheets in order to keep cool all day long. We highly recommend this product. The vest did come with the ice packs already in the vest pockets. But we ordered more in able to exchange daily and wash the previous days usage.

This vest will keep you cool for 15-40 minutes in the Texas summer sun. It’s good if you feel yourself overheating. Slap it on and sit under a tree to cool down a bit. My husband wore it over his shirt, so you may want to try wearing it underneath. Ice cubes never turned solid (kept on cooler with ice) so that may be another thing to play with. The material is well made. It took a while to find out where the straps were to adjust ( try the pockets ) It is too much of a hassle to use every summer day, but on the days it’s forecasted for 100 + degrees, it’s nice to have a little relief.

This is the best ice vest I have tried, with a few notes:1) I hate the heat and overheat very easily, although I sweat from the neck and above rather than below. I wore the vest (black) on a 90-degree day to take a 1-mile walk to a doctor appointment. I was in the shade half the time. I was kept cool and was very happy, but when I arrived at my appointment and took off the vest, my torso was covered in sweat with a capital "C." Removing my clothes and toweling off only helped somewhat; I was still sweat-covered for my exam. Then, 40 minutes after arriving at the appointment, I tried to put the vest on for the walk home, and found that all the ice was melted. LESSON LEARNED: Don't plan to be too far from the extra set of frozen ice if you want to be outside for longer, and don't head for anyplace where you want to look nice. BUT...I will buy the beige version to see if it deflects heat and keeps cooler longer. Perhaps black was not the best idea.

Front zipper already broke after 2 uses.
