InSinkErator Stainless Steel Tank, HC250C-SS HOT250 System, 2-Handle Drinking Faucet in Chrome with 2/3-Gallon, Filter-Compatible Instant Hot/Cold Water Dispenser

We recently did our kitchen and two factors drove us to discovering this - 1: we want hot water fast as we make a lot of press or pour over coffee, and other hot beverages and hate waiting for the kettle; 2: we didn't want a fancy fridge with water and ice dispensing, just a good ole basic fridge with ice maker in the freezer. This filtered instahot and cold eliminates the need for filtered fridge water and a hot water kettle. This is probably the thing we use most in our lives. I've also found more uses for it than just for beverages - the extra hot water is a nice boost when cleaning if I need a splash, and adding filtered water to recipes, etc is easier, as a fridge dispenser isn't convenient for containers of all sizes and spilling mishaps while filling are no problem as it goes into the sink rather than on the floor. I also appreciate the ability to adjust the temperature of the hot water, we can really dial it in to the perfect brewing temp

I bought this to replace the Franke faucet and heater I had that failed. This is the third Franke heater that’s failed in 10 years and I had had enough. I reached out to Insinkerator’s technical support to find out which unit would fit the counter top hole I have. It’s not exactly clear.The unit has been running perfectly now for four months. I love it. The hand control valves are an improvement too.

This was a relatively easy install and was easy to adapt to filtration system at my local hardware store for easy filter replacement. It replaced my old system that had copper lines and required additional connectors that were not included in the kit. The lack of included connectors are only reason for 4 stars, it works great.

Easy installation of you already have an existing one. The best thing is the faucet. The cold can be controlled from a mild stream to full stream without holding down the lever. The hot lever is only activated when you hold down the lever.Ideal improvement over their previous models.

This double hot and cold was perfect and allowed me to convert my previous Insinkerator hot water faucet to this double handle unit using the same sink counter hole and connections. Also perfect for adding an under counter filtration to the cold water line of this unit. Great solution.

Works good, easy to install. Attractive. Added the optional filter (additional purchase).

This is a good product but it does make a loud hissing noise when it heats up water every once in awhile like a pot jut before it boils. If you don’t want that noise then buy something else. Otherwise it’s a quality product that works well. I do recommend it, except for the noise.

Definitely worth every penny I spent. Would buy again without hesitation.
