I was scared to use this product because of the lack of instructions or warnings. It says it's good for sensitive teeth, but doesn't give any clear indication of how often you can use it. I erred on the safe side by avoiding gums, as you should with most teeth whitening products. I wish it came with multiple mouth pieces, I had a hard time using this "one size fits all" size. I had a hard time using this and found it to be clunky and maybe would work better for someone else.

I love a good hot cup of coffee but staining my teeth has always been a sore spot for me personally. I'm not 100% sure if this actually works, could just be a placebo; HOWEVER, its helped my confidence so I'm not questioning it.

I ordered the Ectest Teeth Whitening Kit in hopes of brightening my smile. I've whitened my teeth in the past and have always had to suffer through sensitivity after whitening. When I saw that this claimed not to cause sensitivity or burns on the gum line, I was excited to give it a try.My initial impressions were good. I liked that it came with three gel pens for whitening and a chart to measure the brightness of your teeth. The device was a perfect size for me, but I have a large mouth, so it may be too big for some.I did find a lack of instructions to be concerning. It just says to put gel on the teeth and then use the mouthpiece for either 10 or 15 minutes without explaining the difference between the two settings (red or blue light)? It also doesn't say how often to use the kit safely. Is it like whitening strips that need to be used multiple days in a row, or like the kit I got from my dentist that was only safe to use twice in a month? I tried searching for more information extensively without luck. It would be nice to have a definitive set of instructions come in the kit.One note, the power button on the mouthpiece is extremely sensitive and very easy to accidentally turn off with your lips by accident. I'd recommend trying it out before putting the gel on your teeth to make sure you know how to hold your lips while it is on. I found the best results for me were to wear it with the power button on the bottom as my upper lip kept hitting the button.Another note, the clear rubber guard on the device is removable. It wasn't clear to me from the instructions, but it is, which makes it much easier to clean.As far as sensitivity, I've used the kit more than five times now, tried both settings, and even left the gel on for too long when the device's battery died and I didn't notice, and haven't had any sensitivity or gum damage.As for the whitening aspect, the gel seems to work great on recent stains, but I haven't seen any overall increase to the brightness of my smile using the included chart. The only difference that I've seen is the removal of minor stains that are typically removed when I go to the dentist for my regular cleaning.Overall, I'm both happy and disappointed with the kit. I'm happy that the small stains along my gumline could be removed and that there isn't any pain or sensitivity from the gel. I'm disappointed that it doesn't seem to work on overall brightening (at least in my case).

Beauty is PAIN! OK, so I've tried all sorts of teeth whitening from professional to many home kits. This one is my favorite. I love the two different lighting modes, but use the blue light the most. It also comes with a color chart to track whitening progress. After the first use I noticed a change. I like that this kit is simple to use and clean up after use. The BEST part is I have not experienced that tingling/burning sensation in my teeth after using this. That has been the worst part of whitening my teeth so far, I've always had a lingering and annoying pain. No burning with ECTEST. I only have one con. The discomfort during whitening! The mouth insert is too large imo. I have a sore jaw after using it from having to open so wide and by clinching to keep in in place for 15-30 minutes. It slightly helps if I hold it in place, but time goes by faster if I can keep myself busy doing other things while whitening.

I have tried many teeth whiteners strips, strips with light(not the one that comes with this), gel and by far this is the best I have used. The syringes hold a good amount of whitener so far I've got a couple of weeks out of them and still have around 1 and a half syringes left. As for whitening, this stuff works! I've gotten many compliments on how white they are and this is not like others my gums don't hurt at all it doesn't make them sensitive at all. I definitely will get more when it's needed I've already recommended it to multiple people they were surprised by the results. It's also easy to apply you just twist the syringe until a little comes out and paint it on your teeth, once covered just put the light in your mouth and turn it on it has a timer that goes off when done, and 2 light options. Definitely worth the price and did better than those 80$ crest strips for me.

This whitening kit didn’t not work for me. The whitening mouth tray does not have a ridge that goes behind the upper and lower teeth so the tray slid around in my mouth. Also without the ridge in the tray, the foaming whitener did not stay in place and created too much foaming in the rest of my mouth. I do not consider that I have large lips, however, my upper lip kept switching the power button on and off as the power button is extremely sensitive. It was hard for me to tell if the whitening brush-on solution worked because my teeth are fairly white and I keep up with whitening my teeth on a regular basis. I will continue to use the brush on whitening gel with a different lighted whitening tray to maintain my tooth whitening routine. Unfortunately, this kit is a no go for me.

Carbamide Peroxide is supposed to be safer than Hydrogen peroxide, but for me, the whitening effects are minimal and temporary. I definitely notice some white strips on my teeth, so it has some effects, but by the next day I would say my teeth are back to the color I started with.The LEDs do not seem to help either, they are just light. They do not affect any of the ingredients.If Carbamide Peroxide is working for you, you should try this product. If you want visible outcome, I would suggest picking a Hydrogen Peroxide based alternative.
