Brilliant tool
If you’re thinking of changing any type of taps especially under the bath you just have to have this tool. I cannot praise this tool enough, having changed a couple of single taps to mixer taps over the years I so wish I had seen this tool before. No more bruised cut knuckles no more swearing emanating from the smallest room in the house. And even better no more expensive plumber bills after giving up in exasperation trying monkey wrenches adjustable spanner’s, spanner’s or anything else you can try. Honestly guys n girls for the price and I know you might only use it once or twice but it’s so well worth it.

Good on brass fittings only
Easy to use, Fits tap connectors fine.Ok for brass fitting that clamps tap fits perfectly,No good for plastic fittings not wide enough,I reused the brass fitting on original tap for clamp so not an issue for me.

The cheapest tool did the trick
Trying to replace the new taps on the bath room sink was extremely difficult due to the very small area to access the fittings. After purchasing numerous expensive tool with no success I decided to purchase this very reasonably priced wrench. Completed the task no problem at all, wish I’d purchase it first, would have saved me time and money. Very sturdy and easy to hold and use.

Fixed Basin Wrench
This wrench was bought, to aid me, in replacing the kitchen mixer tap.In the past, I have struggled with a wrench, pliers, and anything else, that I could try and undo the nuts with. Purchasing this basin wrench, made my life 100 times easier. It took the pain out of un-doing the nuts, especially, as one brass nut, was attached to a damaged thread, but managed to get it off, without much problem. The wrench is well made, it has this 'old fashioned' feel do it, something that you might find in your grand fathers toolbox, BUT, it does the job.It took the pain out of tap replacement, especially in a confined spaces, it can be a nightmare!Pros: Well made (solid, no moving parts). Easy to use (no technical knowledge required). The price, can't moan (cheaper than getting in a tradesman).Cons: None. Conclusion: Highly recommended, it made a tricky job, easy, and stress free (I get easily irritated). Use it once, should pay off for itself, after using other tools, this was heaven sent. I would definitely recommend this type of tool, to anyone, who may end up doing, a bit of DIY, tap replacement, for the price, just have one at hand, just in case!

Does not fit Basin Tap nuts
Wanted to tighten newly fitted Basin Taps that just have standard plastic Hex nuts but this is 26mm so too small as Hex nuts are 27mm, large end is 32mm, refund dealt with in usual efficient Amazon Way

Does the job with poor tolerance
The tool itself seems study and well weighted, its heavy enough to be assured it won't instantly snap but light enough you can still move the thing. It is however let down by what can only be a tolerance issue. The jaws themselves are simply too large. Not to the point where the tool doesn't work but does become a real issue when a nut is tight and you struggle to get any purchase. For a single time use and on very good nuts without any rounding it works well but if you're facing a seized or rounded nut then please move along and grab something else.
