Lodge 6 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven - Indigo

This is a great and bargain version of my usual Dutch oven choice, Le Creuset. Looks great, so far no complaints about function. Only question was I thought Lodge was a USA made product but the box said Vietnam?

Hands down, Lodge is the finest in Dutch Oven cookware. I made Cheeseburger Soup in one pot! Start to finish. It cooked evenly, completely, and looked so nice on my stovetop. I purchased it in STORM BLUE for contrast to my very white kitchen. But really, you can’t go wrong with Lodge. Cleanup was a breeze because nothing burned or got stuck to the bottom. I did a little babysitting the stove, but this was my maiden, breaking it in adventure! Oh there was some ground beef residue on the bottom while browning it, but with hot soapy water and a soft scrubby, it melted away with no soaking, hard scrubbing, or cursing. Be prepared though as the cookware is quite heavy. But that’s the Lodge quality shining through. The inside bottom is slightly curved which helps with cooking a variety of dishes like my soup. I’m thrilled with my first Dutch Oven purchase. If you enjoy cooking and desire stovetop or oven cooking options from a single pot, get a Dutch Oven!

I would say this could stand up to the best quality brands out there. I haven’t had this for long (month maybe) and have used OFTEN. I bought the cream color, it cleans beautifully. Love that it came with rubber clips to protect edges during storage. DON’T THROW THESE OUT. You want to keep these! It heats evenly and doesn’t scratch my glass top range. The metal knob on the lid makes it perfect for the oven as well. All around fabulous product! Very high quality. Beautiful too!

I LOVE, Love, love this Dutch Oven. I love the color that I got and I love the roundness of the bottom part which makes it easier to sauté. The weight is manageable and the handles are perfect! The price is great too!! I never write reviews but felt this deserved one.

This is my favorite cooking pot. I make pot roast with vegetables, soups, and chicken in it. It cleans up so easily with a soak and some baking soda. I have the Lodge brazier too, and I love it, but this big pot is my favorite. It's just as fine quality as the more expensive brands. I have it in blue and it looks nice on my stovetop.

Great price and it is working great! Purchased as an opened box with 'acceptable' condition. There was a small enamel chip on the underside of one handle. Otherwise it is perfect. With my future use there is always the chance of an enamel chip. Arrived quickly and I am very pleased.

I ordered this pot to make sourdough. When the first one arrived, I noticed that it was not packaged properly and the top was damaged. The enamel was already peeling off. I quickly notified Amazon and they made it right by sending me a new one. This new one came improper packaging, and it even came with lid protectors to prevent scratching of the enamel. Product seems sturdy and I can’t wait to bake my first loaf of sourdough with it. Product is a good size and color is true to what was pictured.

I recently upgraded to this Dutch oven and I’m thrilled with the decision! I’ve been using a cast iron Lodge Dutch oven for years, which I love, but keeping it clean and properly seasoned has always been a bit of a hassle. This new Dutch oven completely exceeded my expectations. I made a pasta dish as my first test, and it was perfect—no sticking at all and the heat distribution was incredibly even. It is on the heavier side, so that’s something to keep in mind if weight is a concern, but overall, it feels sturdy and high-quality. Definitely a purchase I’m happy with!
