As an owner of an English Bulldog, I've found the COMSUN 2-Pack Collapsible Dog Bowl indispensable for our travel needs over the last 6 years. These bowls are permanently stored in my car, ensuring my bulldog has access to food and water on all our adventures. Their durability is particularly impressive; despite the frequent use and the potential for rough handling by a larger, more robust breed, these bowls have retained their quality and functionality. The ease of cleaning is a significant advantage, making them ideal for on-the-go pet care. Their foldable design hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear, and they remain as easy to expand and collapse as the day I bought them. Ok. I'm writing this review solely based on me playing with them and testing them out. Where I live, it's currently too cold to take the dog for a walk. Even if it warmed up to the upper 20's, we'd go but doubt I'd need to take these with me. Anyway, what I wanted was a way to provide something for our Jack Russel to drink out of when we go for a walk. Where we live, there's a couple of parks that are joined by decent walking paths. There are water fountains at the start, middle, and end of our route. Won't need to carry extra water or let the dog drink out of my hands. I figured something like these bowls would be just what I need. These are priced fairly inexpensively as well. I've seen some collapsible bowls in stores and they usually want the same amount for 1 as I paid for these two. I've clipped them to my belt loop, jacket, leash, and once to the dog's collar for fun. These will work fine and not take up a lot of space or add weight. I've filled them with water and let the dog sniff at them and eventually drink out of them. I have no idea how long they will last collapsing and re-expanding them a couple times a day. If they last through this coming summer, it was worth it. As always, if any issues arise later, I'll update the review. UPDATE I have used one of these bowls a bunch of times now. It's perfect for the dog to get a drink when it's warm out. I keep it in my pocket because I don't like things jangeling around on the leash and it weighs next to nothing so the pocket is perfect. I fill her bowl and let her get a drink then toss what's left in the flowers and head on. I leave the bowl expanded and keep in in my free hand. It drys out fairly fast and then I can put it in my pocket again. Don't know if anyone has taken my recommendation to heart but I've told quite a few people about these for their dogs. It sure beats cupping my hands for the dog to drink out of!

Lasts such a long time, used by all my pets and they were able to eat out of it just fine.

I purchased these collapsible bowls for traveling with our dog, and for taking her on hikes or to the park where it's easy to transport. I had seen similar bowls at the pet store, but they seemed really expensive. Compared to the price they had at the pet store, this was half the cost. I would have paid the same amount for a single bowl at the pet store. The bowls are really nice because they have different "settings" that can be made to have the bowl more shallow or deeper. We use one as a deeper water bowl and the other as a more shallow food bowl. They clean up easily and work great. They're not too flimsy, so they don't tear or break while they're packed up in your luggage. The rim is fairly hard plastic. Each bowl also came with a small carabiner for clipping on a bag. Unfortunately, both broke almost immediately upon opening. They're really cheaply made. When I opened them and tried to remove them from the bowls for the first time, immediately upon receiving the package and unwrapping, they broke. There is a small metal piece that is not held in place very well. It's supposed to keep the silver metal part in place when you clip it back by pushing it forward. Unfortunately, that little metal piece just fell out when I was trying to remove the carabiner from one bowl. The second one fell out after I had successfully removed it from the second bowl, but had it sitting on the table. So yeah, cheaply made. That's really the only reason I'm giving this a 4-star rating. Otherwise, they work great.

Wash it first as it has a yucky plastic smell. I forgot and my dog was hesitant to drink from it at first.....understandably. Good size for medium to large dog. Clip seems very high quality and the bowl itself is a reasonable thickness. Should last a long time.

This comes in handy when walking my dogs in warm/hot weather. It is lightweight and easy to carry. I carry it in my backpack but it comes with a convenient clip so you can clip it on your belt loop. It collapses and extends easily and is easy to clean. It is small so I have to fill it several times for my Rottweiler but a small bowl is much better than no bowl at all. I can let her drink from a water faucet when one is available but I am afraid she will get too much air that way which can cause bloat, a life-threatening condition. A typical walk is 3 miles but may be as much as 5 miles or as short as 2 miles. I highly recommend this bowl to anyone who travels with their dog or walks their dog in very hot weather. Take care of your dog and your dog will take care of you. :-) The caption for the picture is "Squirrel!!"

Solid product that does what it should. How long they will stand up is to be seen but great to have - one for the car and one for my backpack for walks.

Love the size of the bowls for my big baby..

These bowls arrived quickly and in good condition. I washed them with dish soap and vinegar first to ensure that they were clean and scent free for my boy. They wash well and dry quickly. My dog is about 115 pounds and this bowl is the perfect size for one drink for him. I bring these bowls hiking and camping, I either throw them in his backpack or carabiner them to his pack (love the carabiners that come with - convenient!) Works great having him carry his own dishes. I find these bowls very convenient to store in between uses, they fold up flat to store in a drawer out of the way. I would buy these bowls again once mine are worn through. They are perfect for a big busy dog on the go. I keep one in his hiking pack, one in my car, one in our camping gear...so convenient and can't beat this price!
