Economical boot that does the job.
Got these boots for my husband. He typically wears a size 10 but doesn't like his toes to be crowded. Size 11 in these boots are perfect. We have some property and with all the rain this year, much of it is muddy. These boots have kept him dry. They are easy to put on and take off. They have nice traction so, even in mud, he doesn't slip. He wears thick socks which keep him warm enough (the boots aren't insulated). In the spring, he'll be trying these out in the creek as he cleans that area. Definitely recommend them.

Inexpensive but durability limited
I use these for traveling in wetlands and am on my fourth pair. The insoles are very thin and don't offer much cushion but adding a gel insole is an easy fix. Durability is limited and I get somewhere between 20 and 40miles (32 ~ 64km) out of them before they start cracking at the edges of the top of the foot where most bending occurs. This may be related to temperature with cold being worse for cracking. I've tried gluing them, even pre-gluing, but it doesn't help much due to the stresses involved.

Good Price. Good Boot!
The boots fit my size 12 foot. Snug, but okay. I wouldn't say they are 'warm,' but that isn't their purpose. I've only used them a few times for yard work when it's wet, so I can't assess their durability. Easier to take OFF than they are to put ON, but that's fine. These are NOT for wearing over your shoes. These are for feet and socks only!

Perfect for the Farm!
I work on an local farm and needed a pair of knee length waterproof boots, after lots of shopping around, comparing prices and reviews, I finally ordered these Tingley Work Boots for $23 at the time of my purchase! I've been using them for about 3 weeks now and they have gotten the job done very well! Their waterproof, comfortable, warm (with enough socks that is), durable and well made, for $23 you really cannot go wrong and by no means would these "break the bank"! Also to get an idea for size, I'm 5' 11'', 145lbs and wear a size 11 mens shoe, I bought the size 11 pair of Tingley's and they fit perfectly and just hit my knees when wearing them (which is perfect for stepping in puddles and holes)! Just a quick heads up though, these boots smell of intense rubber, most likely from the material their made of, when they arrive, let them air out for at least a few hours before leaving them in your closet or room! I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking to buy, their perfect for farm work, construction (not steel toe though), outdoor labor, harvesting, you name it! Thanks!

Decent Boots at $12 - Not Worth $30
I paid a few cents over $12.00 and I can't recommend anyone pay a nickel more.Within two weeks of purchase, if I stepped in a four-inch deep puddle and sloshed around to rinse them off, I would feel a bit of ice-cold water coming into both boots; this only got worse as time progressed. At six months, there was a two-inch crack in the same place on both boots, letting a ton of water in.These boots have never been abused and are not treated rough. Both boots were cracking on the outer side, in the crevice between the heel and upper, starting near the back of the heel and progressing forward. Before things got any worse, I repaired them with a generous application of Shoe Goo.As delivered, they have a paper-thin insole; I added a thick gel insole above this.To have such a log-truck tread, surprisingly, these boots are treacherous on anything wet; hard wet ground even; I can't count the times my feet have slid from under me on the gradually sloped incline between my shop door and driveway. They are deadly on treated pine floors and steps, like walking on a wet frozen pond.No matter how careful you are, they will immediately fly out from under you and WHAM!! you are down.I have taken some nasty falls on account of these boots inability to maintain their grip on surfaces.I don't know what could be done to them to make them grip better and be safer, short of adding some Congoleum-eating spikes or a set of cramp-ons.

Definitely worth it
I'm impressed with the high quality and low price. I used these while I was working as a well driller's assistant for 2 months and they held up the whole time without showing signs of wearing out. They are heavy if you try to run in them and if you wear them with jeans sometimes the lump at the end of the seam gets annoying but I think that would be the case with any muck boots. They also make great winter boots if you wear them with a dry pair of wool socks.

Good value. Sturdy. A bit narrow for wider feet and calves.
Good boots for the price. I wouldn't want to wear them all the time, but for tromping around in snow and mud, they do the job.Soles are hard plastic without much give, so you'll want to use padded insoles or inserts. The boots do come with thin foam insoles which help a little. You can cut the tops down with scissors if the boots are too tall for your tastes or if, like me, you have stocky calves and the boot shafts are too narrow.Plenty of toe room, but a bit narrow for my wider feet. I wear 11 1/2 Wide shoes, and these 12's are a little long for me and snug.Treads have good grip.
