I am the husband of this Amazon account owner.I have a Philips Norelco beard trimmer, about ten years old, that wasn't holding a charge anymore. I bought a Remington PG525 to replace it and I was very unimpressed with it (though I never used it). It felt cheap and flimsy. I returned it. I opted instead to try to repair my old one. And I did it with one of these batteries.The diameter of this battery is ever so slightly larger. I did have to cut some of the plastic inside the housing so it would fit. Additionally, I broke some of the tabs on my old trimmer - these are the tabs inside that keep the two halves locked together. It required soldering (and these batteries came with solderable tabs - the solder wetted up them very easily!).I've used it several times with success.NiCad (Ni-Cd, NiCd, Ni-Cad) batteries can typically be one-for-one replaced with NiMH batteries since the battery chemistries produce similar voltages. In this case, the voltages are close enough that I can use the same charger that came with my Philips Norelco beard trimmer, and it seems to run the motor just fine. Actually, it seems to run it better - but that is probably because my point of comparison is an aged battery versus a new battery.Unfortunately, I just have no use at all for the other 3 batteries! I would have paid just as much to buy just one!

I installed these in my Braun shaver yesterday and it performs like new again. The annoying thing is that the holes in the circuit board are about half the width of the tabs on these batteries. So if you have some sharp scissors, you can trim the leads in half up to the edge of the battery. You don't need to go any further than that. If you are not careful with your trimming, the tabs can break. I know, because I did it. But I was able to solder the broken tab back onto the remaining tab and it works fine now.These batteries have a long slow death until they barely work at all. My last one lasted about three years, but I procrastinated another year before I finally took the time to replace it.There are some good YouTube videos to learn how to take the case apart to expose the circuit board. You'll need a spring loaded solder sucker to suck out the molten solder to more easily remove the old batteries. My original batteries were glued to the circuit board, so that took a long time to remove them. It's not necessary to glue them to the circuit board unless you drop your shaver on the floor frequently. It will be damaged by something else besides batteries coming loose. So don't feel compelled to glue the new batteries onto the circuit board. It just makes a simple task hard next time.

I purchased these four batteries to replace the ones in two Remington MS3 2700 electric shavers that I have. I wishedI hadn’t. They’re pretty much junk. One set works for about 1/2 a shave before it slows down and the recharge light comes on. The other set works for 4 to 5 shaves before the recharge light comes on. These are 3 to 4 minute shaves. The original batteries were 1400mAh and lasted about 50 minutes. These are 2000mAh batteries and last about 15 minutes. I’m really disappointed, as it is quite a job to change them. Good price, bad product. You get what you pay for. Too much work to send back.

Fit to Oral B pro 1000 series but I need to modify the battery holder a bit due to the OEM battery is shorter than this replacement. There are several helpful videos on Youtube that show exactly what you should do. The battery has an improved capacity compared to the OEM one. I can use the toothbrush for 2 weeks without charging.

I needed only one, but the price of the pair was more than reasonable. I replaced the single battery in my Panasonic beard and hair trimmer and it is working like new. The tabs are a little thinner than the original so be careful not to side stress them at the spot welds. I had to relocate the tab solder holes and found it best to use a sharp awl to penetrate the tabs. I did use a piece of cardboard as a back up under the tab to avoid any stress on the tab or the spot welds.

Used to replace an old battery in a grooming shaver.An easy replacement (soldering). The battery tabs have sleeves that can be used as insulation on the connecting wires. These batteries are a higher value in current capacity than the original battery, thus lasting longer on each charge.Great product!

I tried getting a battery like this at the local Battery Plus, but when they didn't have one--nor did they offer to order one for me--I turned to Amazon. I soldered it in, and it works like a charm.
