I finally have enough pigeon peas (Trinidad name for gungo peas). Great value. Will be buying again.

This is a review of the latest batch of product from Dunn River. This is a company trying tocut corners but just disappointing the customer.......While the product is very good, with great wholesale priceI was very very disappointed with the latest volume of peas contained in each tin.The current volume of peas in the tin is around 60% and 40% water . I was very disappointed and I checkan older tin, about 6 months old and it was around 80% full !!!It seems that Dunn River is robbing is customers of the main product, the peas and replacing it with WATER.- I have checked some own-brand kidney beans etc and they were 90% solid content and only 10% water.a. The picture attached shows tins of the product with the bulk of water removed - no peas was removed.b. The tins on the LEFT are the older tin content, the tin on the RIGHT is the latest package with only 60% pea content.

Love these peas
Love these peas. They have a great taste and work really well added to boiled or fried rice. It's not an easy open can but no issues using a can opener if it's going to save me a couple quid.
