Okay, let me tell you why.
Okay. I am hardcore Korean beauty person, and I have kind of negative bias against Japanese product - due to their release of radioactive material to the ocean recently. Since I can find everything what I need from Korean beauty products, but I still gave 4 stars - then what is so special about this product?Ingredients:I am not sure what they were trying to sell by naming "HUMANANO" but still at least from the ingredient list, it is full of relatively expensive ingredients. It doesn't have any heavy texturizers, seemingly diverted the purpose of the serum from injectable into serum. It's made with EGF and many other growth factors (so long strony short, anything comes with Sh - means synthetic & human. So it is a lab grown or human cell medium extracted factors (don't worry, it's nothing gross - you grow cell in the lab, then it releases lots of factors. You extract the factors from growth medium. It's filtered and clean.) Other than that, it has soyben oil, glycerine, vitamin E and phenoxyethanol. So when you just look at the ingredient, it's more or like injectable mesotherapy serum (I don't recommend you to do this since it's not sterile.)Tips:This will work well when you use this with microneedling machine like Dr. Pen. It doesn't contain any penetration enhancers nor texture enhancing solvents so it just feels like water.Effectiveness:I am not sure about the concentration of this serum but it actually worked great as microneedling serum in my case. Lines looked smoother, and skin looks a lot more radiant - compared to the hyluaronic acid serum only. For the price, I am not really sure what the concentration of each factor is. If it contains decent amount, then it is not expensive at all. If it's made with lots of water and very little peptides, then it's BS. I think this product is like you love it or hate it and I wish it was slightly thicker as well. So 4 stars.

Extremely thin serum, needs to be applied directly to face/skin
This serum goes on more like a toner. The instructions on the box recommend applying morning and night, after washing your face - identical to a typical toner instruction. Most serums have a bit of viscosity to them that makes them easy to apply by not running everywhere and giving you extra application time. Place a drop on a fingertip, apply to face. This 'serum' is extremely thin and attempting to do my standard serum application fails immediately because the drop (or even several drops) on my hands immediately runs and then either absorbs or instantly evaporates and I don't even have time to get it on my face. I have to resort to squeezing a drop at a time directly onto an area of my face and then quickly massaging it in. Where I'd normally use about 4 drops of a serum to cover my entire face, this one easily takes twice that if not more, making this an even more expensive product than the price alone reveals. It also speaks to how toner-like this product is.I can say that in combination with the Placen Lotion, which includes instructions to apply after the serum, my skin does feel very soft and smooth after use. As with all skin products their effects happen over the long term so I can't speak to the effectiveness in terms of 'aging' and wrinkles yet, but I'm happy with how my skin feels. Difficult to say if this serum itself is worth the cost however.Arrived in a box that was sealed at both top and bottom. Bottle has an unusual plastic cap to cover the dropper bulb. Expiration is 12m after opening. There are basic English instructions on the box.

No results, not cruelty-free, and very expensive...
I was excited to try this serum. It seemed like a very interesting product. It comes in a dark glass bottle, probably to protect it from sunlight, with a dropper. The serum itself is incredibly runny, as in, the consistency of water. It was difficult to use without it running everywhere and wasting product. I finally resorted to placing the dropper right next to my face (because it shouldn't touch your skin) and dispensing the smallest amount, over and over. There was no scent or irritation. However, there also was nothing else. It seemed like I was putting water on my face. That feeling would have been fine, except I noticed no change in my skin after applying it either, immediately or after letting it absorb. I've never had a serum produce zero change in feeling and/or appearance. My face felt bare and dry, as if I had applied nothing at all. Perhaps that is just the way this product works and it will take a long time to see results. If that is the case, this is a tough product to evaluate, as it may take an extended amount of time to see even the smallest results, yet it is a very expensive serum. It would take a lot of faith to continue investing, hoping to eventually see results.Since I already have a bottle, I could continue to use it and see if I eventually experience any results. However, since there are no markings on the packaging, bottle, or in the online listing, I have to assume this serum is not vegan or cruelty-free. Very disappointing. I won't support a company that isn't cruelty-free, so I won't recommend this, nor would I purchase another bottle, even if it did do something. ☹

Not worth the hype or the price
This serum claims to help me with my scars, but so far it's a total flop. It's supposed to be all natural and stuff, but it's also super pricey for such a tiny bottle. And it didn't even come with any directions, like how am I supposed to use this thing? The serum was so thin and watery, it felt like nothing on my skin. And after two weeks of using it, I saw zero difference. . I would not recommend it to anyone. It gets two stars from me, and that's being generous.
