Perfect gift!
My 4 yr old grandson loved it! We were hiding coins all over the house so could find the treasure! Makes a great noise and he's looking forward to taking it to the beach and on neighborhood walks.

Great value for money
This is perfect for your little one that wants a metal detector. Definitely for 9 years and under. My son is 6 and LOVES looking for treasures so this has provided lots of fun and he has dreamed of owning one. We tried a more advanced one that said kids could use it to but it was too difficult for my son to navigate and even hold. This is perfect, not too pricey and easy enough for kids to handle and navigate on their own.

Good little detector for young kid
I gave this detector to my 7 year old nephew for his birthday and he had a good time with it while camping. While it does detect all sorts of metal and it’s not made with the heaviest plastic, it’s decent for the money. We hid coins in sand and let it detect it to get him used to how to use it and find things.

Push and hold Reset/On/Off button
At first, we thought it was broken. After trying 2 batteries, it didn't work. Then, just by chance, I pushed and held the on button for a few seconds and it came on. My son loves it. Fingers crossed that it keeps working.
