I needed something I could use with a timer to get that area (and only that area). This is really straight forward to use - you can control the power of the flow, the "width" of the spray, and then how "long" back and forth it goes. I had my wife turning off and on as I ran in and adjusted settings back and forth. It took 2-3 minutes to set up. The spike is a coated metal and it looks pretty durable. It also goes quite far. Can't speak to long term use but as of initial writing very happy with the value of this.

Best hose sprinkler for large or awkward areas - big spray range. Quite adjustable for width (both sides) and throw, as well as water pressure. Seems quite durable over time. The go-to sprinkler for big rectangular areas. No leaks with proper installation (use the hose gasket…). Manual rotation, width, length and pressure adjustments work well. Spike can be shallow for long reach, deep in ground for shorter.
