Compact mic stand with a good weighted base, but a little on the flimsy side
Pros:- Affordable- Collapses quite compactly- Includes mic mount and cable clips- Sturdy enough to work well for gentle use- Tall enough for a 5'10" singerCons:- Wobbles and sways when touched, particularly with heavier micsOn the whole this is a decent mic stand if you're looking for something very cheap and portable, and will do the job pretty well for home studio recording where you have the discipline to keep your hands off the mic. This is not, however, a strong enough mic stand for a karaoke bar or a rock star on stage.

Best inexpensive stand ever
I typically do not buy inexpensice stands because usually they are not good....UNTIL NOW..I bought this one for it's packed away size... NO CLUMBSY BASE...this one has a nice tripod style bas with a wide reach. It really helps in stability since I usually mount a heavy Shure 55 on it.The gooseneck is strong enough to hold my heavy mics and is easy to reposition with one hand when needed.Packed up its really easy to transport. very small and compact.... did I mention LIGHT?I use it standing up and it isn't even fully extended.... it will work for sitting and for short singers like children.Overall I really like it....I just wish the adjustment mechanisms were not plastic but if you don't gorilla crank the knobs you'll be fine...

Awesome customer service
This microphone stand was a birthday gift for my granddaughter. Unfortunately, when we went to put it together the bottom attachment piece broke off. I contacted the company and they immediately replaced the stand with apologies. My granddaughter absolutely loves it!!

Quick, easy setup. Lightweight yet sturdy. Does not take up much space at all on a cramped stage. Having the option for varying heights would be a benefit for people, no matter their height. Highly recommend this!
