NSDRC RS100 High Torque CNC Aluminum Waterproof Remote Control Car Micro RC Servo 5V - 8.4V - 1/24 & 1/18 Scale RC Cars Electronics (HELIDIRECT) (RS100 - Micro SERVO)

The NSDRC RS100 is an awesome servo for 1/24th and 1/18th scale RC crawlers. Very strong and fairly quiet. I heve 2 and will be buying more as the steering servos on my other rigs die.

On a trx4m high trail Quick servo and very strong going around curves uphill. No noise, fast as heck! worth every penny. Easy fit since i had lay down servo mount already

Firstly the servo looks beautiful, pictures don’t due it justice. Finishing work and the way the stainless pops thru is stunning. Way stronger than the emax which it replaced due to it struggling with all the brass up front. My esc allows more power to the servo which was a game changer and have no problem telling my 560g build where to go in tough situations. Fits the bsme (best servo mount ever) by mofo rc. Needs to have a specific style mount that allows the servo to be above the front suspension links due to its length. I will also have to grind/sand the ears of the servo down to allow clearance during articulation to the frame girders which doesn’t bother me. If your installing this I would assume you know you have to mod a decent amount of things to fit, which is half the fun. My only gripe is that at the time of this review, the add does not specify it does NOT come with the matching servo horn displayed in the photos and in previous review pictures. You can’t use most aftermarket horns either. I went to their website and spoke to a customer service rep who was kinda being a jerk but sent me a link to there horns which would be compatible. In the end I had to buy a pack of 3 servo horns from there website which after tax and shipping was just short of 20 bucks. So be warned your budget should allow for this servo, a servo mount and horn minimum. For now I have to run the plastic horn which looks terrible but I will deal with it for now.

Seems very well built, comes nicely packaged. THIS ITEM IS NOT COMPLETE. You will need a specific servo mount and servo horn to make this work.

The servo was locked up before power was applied. Once powered up it worked, but got extremely hot in just a couple of seconds.

I do like the product, it performs well. I don't like the fact that the horn requires the exact brand to match up.

Paid with a furitek system and a Traxxas tx/Rx (don't say anything) and it works very well. Powerful. Looks amazing! Haven't tested durability but 8t checks out on everything else.
