Arturia KeyLab Essential 61 Mk3 White - Midi Keyboard

It just works straight out of the box, no complicated programming needed, (although all the setup features can be customised to suit your needs), but with the free DAW, (Ableton live lite), and a couple of other DAW's I've tried, it just works. But I think the inclusion of Arturia analog lab 5 pro makes this controller stand out and become the best for value around, it's all you need to start producing and recording music straight away in one package, and there's more free stuff included if that's still not enough for you. It's such a comprehensive package, (I paid less than £200 from Amazon), and for less than £200, you won't beat it's value. I am very happy with my purchase and so far can honestly say it's all pro's and no cons. Terrific value, top class product, and an all in one solution to music production for beginner or pro.

Nice to use, plastic but sturdy and nice action on knobs and faders. Good integration with Arturia VSTs and easy to set up to control Native Instruments macro controls too. Display shows Arturia instrument selection and good integration with FL Studio

Happy with the purchase as the controller keyboard is good with Ableton, although I've not yet got the LCD display to display the same information as stated in some of the YouTube set up tutorials. Need to perservere with that for a bit longer. As a keyboard player, I am disappointed with the keybed though. I had read reviews saying that the keybed was not the best quality and not as good as the better Arturia models, but did read that this MkIII was better in that regard. It's not. It's difficult to play with feeling and touch sensitivity. It all works, it's just a bit tacky. I may get used to it a bit more in time, but at the moment, I am going into the midi velocities of the notes in Ableton and adjusting them individually where necessary. Working out which dials and faders work with the various software instruments is a bit hit and miss as the faders are not labelled in any way. This is understandable as the controls are different for different instruments, but yet to devise a way of turning the right dial or fader first time. Still pleased with this product for the money, but would have spent more on the better model if I could have afforded it.

I'm not a musician by any stretch of the imagination but wanted to buy a keyboard to explore some of the synth sounds of the 1980s. The keyboard is easy to setup and register and comes with tons of software to get you going. The Analog Lab V software you get gives you many 100s of vintage instruments to play around with and the Lite version of Ableton Live will let you sequence them into tracks. I was blown away by how good this all was and how easy it was to use. Probably the best thing I've bought for myself for years!

It has a great key bed, the features are built into the keyboard not software like other keyboards (NI Komplete Kontrol, etc) and it looks great. The features are very easy to use and the setup is minimal. The icing on the cake is that it comes with an amazing Analog Lab Pro V virtual instrument. It's a no-brainer considering the price.

Delivery from seller was very prompt keyboard was well packaged complete with power supply and register and free software download After 2 days working things out I e just managed to get the Arturia working and it’s a gem great keyboard to start using budget end but does what you need instead of using mouse all the great sound design using control knobs on the fly I shall get back to it lots to try out you have to remember to download the DAW script then go to your privacy section to allow the file to open and install this I did then re opened keyboard and my logic daw it came up working also make sure your DAW is up to date and the firmware on your midi control software has the latest firmware cross check on Arthuria Warburg site when you firstly register the keyboard where you will find the ASC sofware to firstly download install

What a great little controller and it comes with excellent software.
