There are no foldable grooves. It's all 1 flat surface.Product Quality(2/5): Definitely not velvet.Overall the product is useable, but way too expensive for this poor quality product.

My husband and I just started a new D&D campaign, and for the first time we aren't using online dice rollers! So we bought some new dice and these dice trays, and they work great. They collapse flat which makes them really easy to store and I really like the colors. They look just like the pictures in the listing.The dark blue can be hard to see what you rolled if you have transparent or clear dice, but otherwise this is great.

They use cheap snaps. It always unsnap itself.

The weight is great because if something is heavy I can't pick it up. Easy to store away It was easy to assemble. Love the two colors And it's very sturdy. I highly recommend this to anyone that plays games for dice that loves to get loose on a regular table top.
