I had a small toilet area which never had any skirting board, and when I seen this on Amazon, I thought I would get it and try it to see what it would be like. I was pleasantly surprised as it arrived wrapped up but was easy to apply. it is a spongy material and has two layers of double sided tip at the back. I would suggest that you tear off the red backing in small parts at a time as it makes it easier to attach to the wall a small piece at a time. I phoned this very easy to apply and phoned it easier because it was a lower skirting board. I would probably suggest that if you were using this in the centre of the wall, you would probably need another helping hand and spirit level in order to keep it straight. I would definitely buy this product again and have no worries about using it as it does not look cheap and it was the cheapest option for me instead of purchasing Wooden skirting board and then having to paint it. I love this product.

Amazing product! Wanted to do this for ages but didn't fancy gluing wood to my walls . Easy to do and use . Sticks well but easy to remove once you fancy a change.

Easy to install and it looks like if it was wood molding, I didn't expect to look that great!

I read some of the comments that talked about how bendable the material is and that it has lines in it etc. Cuz it was so affordable decided to give it a shot. Honestly it's excellent!...if you know how to finesse things.Material: comes rolled. stiff enough to not flop around and easily use, bendable enough to maneuver easily. More than it appears rolled.Colour: off white(see pics) (white side is wet paint, behrs matte)Adhesive: will come off unless using blowdryer to warm. I didn't bother I just used transparent gorilla glue(amazon $14). It'll be on for life lol. It was a tiny index finger sized bottle and did the whole area.Cutting: used regular scissorsI used it for crown moulding and it isn't even for the ceiling it's for the bottom and intended to go on straight (I angled it). I also used matte paint that hides imperfections and unless you know what to look for and go right up close (which you'll need a ladder for) you can't see any lines at all! I peeled off the red and only used their back sticker just to keep it against the wall long enough to apply glue.The pics I have here is with it nearly done. I still need to putty the corner holes as you would normal moulding cuz the angle cuts and add another layer of paint and you'd never guess it was this strange foamy rubber thing. I bought 3 and only need 2 for this little square area large enough to fit double bed and have alot of space left.Great product, very affordable and I didn't have to wait on my dad. Didn't use a balance meter or measuring tape. Just scissors, glue and paint.Would recommend for crown moulding and shoe moulding. Not chair rail moulding I'm thinking material wouldn't look solid enough.If your capable go for it. I'm 5'3 and managed to do this somehow.

I am very happy with this. It looks great. Went on so easily. Super easy to cut. My tip is to only expose a small bit of the adhesive at at time, use a level to make sure you’re straight and don’t pull the strip tight, just lay it gently. My only dislike is that there are a few creases in the rail from when it was rolled for shipping. Overall, very happy!
