Solid little box. Lid is plastic though. But in all fairness if you wanted to get into it a metal lid wouldn’t stop a sledge hammer!

One thing to add to other reviews, yes the large hole is a bit of a design flaw. But just put whatever you are trying to avoid in an empty multivitamin box and bingo now you can't get to it easily!

DO NOT BUY OR PUT ANYTHING VALUABLE INSIDE THAT YOU NEED. This locked box was working fine initially until one day I put my things inside and locked it. When it was supposed to open it did not and my things are locked inside and I can’t get them out. I have tried to get in contact with customer support to sort this issue but have heard nothing in response!

Sturdy box, with a good lock. But they designed it with a hole is the side... The rubber seal peels away and it takes seconds to get in to. Waste of time unless you're only trying to secure large items

Unfortunately the sensor on the inside of the lid that detects whether or not the lid is closed doesn’t push in far enough for it to register as closed - effectively rendering the thing useless. Really disappointed - was hoping to have it replaced but it appears that I’ll have to go for the refund option and I naturally don’t have much confidence in making a replacement order at this point.

Well made sturdy metal box. Yes it has a hole in it, but if that means you can pull small things out, then put them in a little tub or bottle.Anyway it worked well for a couple of weeks. Then one day when it was meant to unlock it didn't! I tried everything, setting timer again, pressing all the buttons etc etc, but the lock was just stuck on locked and I needed my things inside, so after a couple hours I had to get the tools out and cut it open from the side.Really annoying as it was perfect until that happened. Glad it's not made of super thick metal otherwise I don't know what I would have done.

Oh my. I have locked my husband’s pills up for 6 days!I didn’t read the picture properly that showed the first three numbers of the display are DAYS not hours. Luckily, I have other pills to distribute tomorrow.This little safe was very well packaged. I had trouble opening the battery door, but a knife remedied that. It’s sturdy and will do the job. Hopefully, in five days, twenty-two hours and thirty minutes I will be smarter in setting the time. Ugh.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The product is sturdy, easy to use and more than enough space to fit my phone. After buying the first I decided to buy a second to keep at my office.My only dislike is that it is really difficult to put in the AA batteries.
