Door Sill Protector Guards for RIVIAN, Entry Guards Door Step Scuff Plate Protectors for RIVIAN R1T Accessories -4 Pack

A bit pricey for what it is.. but does the job from having boots scuff the door sill in and out of your Rivian. The double sided tape they send along with it is worthless. Mine fell off in the grocery store parking lot a week later making me look like a bozo and my car was falling apart. Some old timer yelled at me to buy an American car and not some junk Korean Ev. (Rivian is made In the US btw) ... so you'll have to invest in some nice 3M auto adhesive tape.. so at the end of the day wish with Rivian offered something OEM for this small issue.

I understand these are designed for the Rivian R1T, but I installed them on our R1S. The front doors sill covers fit perfectly and provide really great protection from shoe scuffs during entry and exit. The rear door sills are very short for the smaller opening on the R1T, but they still work on our R1S by sliding them to the front of the door opening - where people's feet are passing during ingress and egress. They don't impede the door seal in any way and provide excellent protection! Recommend!

These fit okay, but the adhesive strips tended to separate from the back of the guards while I was attempting to simply peel off the protective red covers; that makes me question just how well they will stay adhered in the long run. Also, for what is essentially just 4 pieces of thin molded plastic, these are way over priced.
