HAZET 2154-2 2000 mm Measuring Tape - Multi-Colour

This tape measure is as accurate as my longer Starrett "Exact" tape measures and even my vernier callipers, something I can't say is true for the Stanley & Lufkin tape measures I've used previously.(I hate to break it to you, but yes - the scales on many tape measures can be a little off - no issue if you're using a single tape, but problematic if you need to have more than one tape measure in your life!)This tape measure is a bit special, as the blade does not automatically retract, so it holds the tape out using friction and you have to push the blade back into the body manually (this is intentional).I use this for smaller-scale woodworking & engineering projects, where it's quite useful that the blade doesn't go anywhere on its own without engaging a separate lock.Additionally, the "window" to view the scale on top is incredibly useful, the hook of the tape measure moves back and forth slightly on purpose. This is so when you're using the tape measure "conventionally" (hook onto something and read the scale as usual) vs using the hook to push and the body of the tape to take an internal measurement (using the window & red line marker) that the measurement is accurate.I like it so much I've just bought a second that'll be part of my workshop EDC!

This is an excellent metric tape measure for toolkits where weight matters — you travel. Class II accuracy and push-pull operation (no lock to break).

This little Hazet is cool looking, but the measuring tape is not smooth while retracting.

Die letzten 2-3 cm muss man das Band von Hand zurück schieben, manchmal klemmen die Nieten vom Band/Winkel am Plastik. Zudem sind die Ecken ziemlich scharfkantig (Verletzungsgefahr). Für den hohen Preis hätte ich einen besser Qualität erwartet. Habe gleichzeitig auch noch denStanley Bandmass Panoramic gekauft. Der ist perfekt billiger und erst noch ein Meter länger. Ich empfehle daher den Stanley Panoramic zu kaufen.
