Bruce Lee's final film, Enter the Dragon, celebrates its 50th anniversary, standing the test of time as the most beloved martial-arts epic in film history. To avenge the death of his sister, Lee infiltrates the island fortress of criminal warlord Han and enters his brutal tournament. The result is a breath-taking visual feast of competitions fusing karate, judo, taekwondo, tai chi, and hapkido, staged by Lee Himself. Both the original 1973 Theatrical Cut and 1998 Special Edition Cut, with additional footage and alternate audio, have been remastered in glorious 4K UHD. On Disc Special Features Introduction by Linda Lee Caldwell Commentary by Paul Heller 3 Documentaries: Blood and Steel: The Making of Enter the Dragon, The Curse of the Dragon, and Bruce Lee: In His Own Words No Way As Way The Return to Han’s Island Wing Chun: The Art That Introduced Kung Fu to Bruce Lee Linda Lee Caldwell Interview Gallery Vintage Featurette: Location: Hong Kong with Enter the Dragon Backyard Workout with Bruce And More! Review: Great picture - I am one of these people who likes old things, I still use a Video recorder and still have many old VHS tapes. I have all the Bruce Lee films on Video. The picture and sound quality in my opinion is fantastic, although I admit whilst it is a good movie, again in my opinion the mouth dubbing sometimes is not quite right but I bought it for the karate scenes, in my opinion Bruce was the true master Review: Worth the price just for the special features - I was familiar with Bruce Lee as an icon and had heard that he had made a significant impact in martial arts but I never really knew much about him. I purchased this film to become acquainted with the legend and it's brilliant value for money. The film itself is good but I actually enjoyed the special features more. There are numerous documentaries on the two discs which cover the making of 'enter the dragon', Bruce Lee in his own words and footage of Bruce working out alongside commentary from family and friends. As you will discover for yourself, the guy was absolutely amazing and it's a tragedy that he died at such a young age. Not only did he have incredible physical strength and martial arts ability, he was also very intelligent and read widely. His personal library consists of hundreds of books and he went to university, which I was completely unaware of. The talent that the man possessed is awe-inspiring and he has definitely inspired me to try and live a more productive life. It's very rare that I take the time to watch the special features on dvds as I prefer to just watch the films but the knowledge and inspiration you will garner from the features on this dvd, is priceless. The first thought that came to my mind after watching both discs was 'I cannot believe this only cost me about £4.'

Enter the Dragon 4K review August 23
This 2023 4K release of Bruce Lee’s 1973 classic movie is a lazy effort by Warner Bros. The Good: 1. This is Bruce Lee at the peak of his powers so everyone needs this movie in their collection in some form. 2. This version includes the original theatrical cut as well as the common extended cut; 3. It is uncensored; 4. The 4K restoration provides an uptick in picture quality. I noticed things watching this version that I never had before, such as the cut to Bruce’s finger in some shots (caused by an accident on set); 5. Strong audio options: this version rocks in surround sound! The Bad: 1. The 4k upgrade is uneven. Outdoor scenes (particularly as the junk sets sail from the harbour) are noticeably improved whilst other scenes show negligible improvement over previous releases; 2. The extras are exactly the same as the ones Warner Bros have been churning out on previous DVD and blu-ray releases for the last 20 years. Bottom Line: If you don’t have this movie in your collection, buy this 4k release. If you’ve already got it, this version will provide a slight but noticeable upgrade in picture quality. Overall, as a big Bruce Lee fan, this release is a disappointment. It is common knowledge that there are deleted scenes for Enter the Dragon (some appearing in other movies) and also outtakes (just check out youtube), yet Warner Bros have made no effort whatsoever to dip into their vaults and make this release worthwhile. Just last month, Arrow Films released a 4k boxset of Bruce’s other films. It is absolutely terrific, with better 4k restorations and some jaw-dropping extras including footage from Big Boss and Game of Death that has been lost for the last 50 years. My recommendation: Buy the Arrow boxset “Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest”. (it includes Enter the Dragon, albeit not in 4k) and hope that Arrow get the rights in future to give Enter the Dragon the release it deserves.

LEGEND ON B/R....
What a wonderful edition to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of this film ! As a teenager in the seventies and like many others I was able to witness the impact this film had on the world and marvel at the display of skill, finesse, talent, grace and the sheer power of Bruce Lee. The very first thing we see is the old Warner's logo hurtling towards us the audience. Then the picture zoomd towards Lee wearing virtually nothing bar a pair of briefs. We are all used to it now but back then it was like nothing any of us in the west bar Hong kong plus Chinese Cinema had ever seen.seen This blu/ray highlights all the action beautifully and is packed with extras some of which I have already seen and one or two I havn't. So, I started with a basic video in the eighties, moved to dvds and now have blu ray. In each case, what has stayed the same and remains amazing are the fight scenes choreographed by Lee himself and, in addition, the immense contribution made by the supporting cast to say nothing of the way it was all skillfully directed by Robert Clouse. It has been said that the storyline resembles that of Dr No and I would agree with that. However, as the film progresses the attention moves away from the basic storyline because the visuals take over. That is not to say that we are fed meaningless action but rather dazzling displays of all sorts of martial arts that are truly stunning ! On a personal level it has been a massive favourite in my family with my brothers becoming faithful admirers from the seventies onwards; now, their children are also enjoying it and becoming fans themselves. The word classic when describing a film is often misused but in this case it is fully justified and for me is all about the spirit that is Bruce Lee !

A great movie by martial arts star Bruce Lee. Believe it or not, I’ve never seen this film before, so upon reading the reviews and hearing how good it was, I decided to order it on Amazon. I bought the September, 2009 edition. Like many others who have commented, I found the movie interesting and action-packed. It has a big “Hollywood” production feel to it. The storyline is kind of cheesy and the acting is B-grade, but the fighting in it is phenomenal. Despite his relatively small size and stature, Bruce Lee is a great fighter. He’s fast, powerful, and very skilled. This movie highlights his incredible martial arts skills to a tee. The fighting displayed by the other actors is okay. Of note is the tragic character of Su Lin in the movie, played by Angela Mao. The woman fights off a whole bunch of men who try to rape her. Instead of being raped, she defends herself with skills likened to a female Bruce Lee! As a man, I didn’t expect this at all. I thought she would give in, and the men would take advantage of her. For that time (the movie was made in 1973, so just barely out of the 1960s), it was nonexistent to see a woman in a “fighting-back role”. The way Lee’s sister handles the situation proves otherwise, and she defiantly avoids being raped. The outcome is just one example of the many twists and turns in “Enter The Dragon”. Overall, it’s a thrilling action-packed movie. Definitely not a movie for children because of the violence and sex, but many adults, especially guys who are into martial arts, will go wild for this movie for sure!

Was hast du empfunden dabei? " -. " Soll ja auch nicht komisch sein! " ************************************************************************************************** Story: Gangsterboss Han, der als Tarnung eine Martial- Arts- Schule für seinen Opium- Schmuggel sowie Prostitution auf einer Inselfestung betreibt, hat scheinbar auch den Tod von Lee`s Schwester zu verantworten. Um diesen Mord zu rächen, schleust Lee sich unerkannt in diese Hochburg ein und nimmt an Hans brutalem Martial- Arts- Turnier teil................................................... *************************************************************************************************** Fazit: Herzlich willkommen! It`s fantastico. Logo. Harhar. DER MANN MIT DER TODESKRALLE- und der Kinosaal bebte. Damals. (Selbstverständlich und auch bei JEDEM seiner Filme. Ich war dabei. Immer.) Das Spiegelkabinett auf riesiger Leinwand. Bombastisch! *****Lauflänge: 98.15 Minuten! Exakt! Disc 1= SPECIALS: - Original- Kommentar von Paul Heller( Producer)! - Blut und Stahl: Das Making of " Der Mann mit der Todeskralle "= 30 Minuten! - Bruce Lee: Mit seinen eigenen Worten= 20 Minuten! - Linda Lee Cadwell Interviewgalerie= 16 Minuten! BEAUTIFUL! VERY BEAUTIFUL!
