Perhaps this is premature. I have had this robe for about 24 hours. But as long as I am in the house, I never want to take it off. And I don’t plan to leave the house, when it is this freezing cold even INSIDE.I can’t report yet on how the robe washes, but it feels heavenly right out of the package. And I don’t feel the need to wash it first, because it came out of the package clean and soft and with NO SMELL! My nose is sensitive to the chemical smells - and occasionally awful, perfumey smells - on so many fabrics as they come right out of the package these days. This has no odor whatsoever. Well, by now it probably smells a little like my cat. She loves it too.It hangs very much the way it does on the model. LENGTH: On me it is a bit longer than on the model, but I expected that. I am barely 5-foot-1 and 115 lbs, usually size small or 6 petite. The small/medium is a little roomy as I’d expected, but not overly so. I am not willing to take it off long enough to measure, but it hits me around mid-calf. It’s a challenge to find items like this that aren’t too long, and this is perfect for my needs. For any other petites wondering, if I hang my arms down straight, the sleeves go right to where my fingers meet my hand, and just the ends of my thumbs peek out. The sleeves roll up nicely, but I like the ability to quickly tuck my fingers in when they get cold.When I first went to put the tie through the belt loops, I was nonplussed by how high the loops are. But once you tie it, the belt falls just right, with the pockets positioned perfectly for both handwarming and for tucking the belt’s ends in to keep aforementioned cat from deciding they’re a toy.The ribbon wrapping is a lovely touch and made me smile as soon as I opened the package.Two thumbs and four paws up.

Beautiful soft red color. I ordered to size, and the fit was just right. This robe is comfortable, warm, and I recommend it if you need a new robe. You can tie it to help close it, along with its big, long tie. There’s two nice big pockets in front. My size is large.

I thought this robe was perfect from what I wanted. Very soft, warm but not overly heavy.The size was true to fit.I ordered the red color and it was a little more burgundy color but still ok for me.

Ok. I am pleasantly surprised how soft this robe feels. I have a muscle disease that makes me sensitive to touch. This robe is heaven. I purchased the pink one and I've had no issues with shrinkage or lint transfer. I have worn it straight out of the shower and it doesn't leave lint on my person. Its soft, absorbent, and warm. I recommend it over the higher price robes unless you prefer your robe to have the texture of a rough towel, get this one, you will not be disappointed.

This bathrobe is the first one I have ever owed, and I have to say that is the best robe I had ever grace my skin! It is super soft and warm! I only meant to use it when I would take showers or baths, but I am telling you that I use it as a bedtime robe as well! It's so comfortable that it feels like a hug! I love the hood on this robe as well and it fits like a glove. I highly recommend it!

Bought this robe for an upcoming surgery and just received it and it is super soft and comfy. It is a little large for me but for a robe in my opinion you want it a little bigger anyway. Not looking forward to the surgery but am looking forward to treating myself to the robe when I am in the hospital. Love the hood, I tend to get cold so I imagine I will snuggle up just fine in this! Color seems to be fairly close to what is pictured I think. Overall very happy with my purchase.

This robe is incredibly soft, warm, and comfortable. I wear it around my house constantly. I didn't think I would care much for the hood, but it's useful when I'm really cold (or when I want to sneak up on my boyfriend and pretend I'm an assassin).The sizes run large, so don't be concerned that it will be too small. No problems with machine washing for me, and it has held up great. It looks much more expensive than it is.Buy this thing, and plan a weekend on the couch catching up on tv.
