Just not another water filter
Good catch, easy peasy, good tasting water from the faucet.

Clean water for kitchen
Installed this filter under our kitchen sink. Water tastes better. The process is easy and taking only 15 minutes. Now we have filtered water for daily kitchen use including washing fruits and vegetables. This filter also works as pre-filter to our existing RO system.

Better than bottled water quality from my sink
The city water that I get is clean, but there are some chemicals in there that just makes things I cook like pasta taste less than optimal as the city tap water contained chlorine and Florine. It's very light, but I can taste it and it's especially evident when making coffee or tea as it's just a little bit off. Then I installed this under my sink in about 10 minutes and now the cold tap water is tastes nice and fresh and super clean. Making tea for coffee is unbelievable how good it tastes and you can see the tea seeping out of the tea bag much more and you also get the full flavor of the tea and coffee. I also need to use less sugar in my coffee as it really does make a huge difference in the color as well as the taste. Drinking the water cold also has that crispness and refreshing feeling as water should. I also had the water tested, and the TDS is almost down to zero with a home test kit as before it was in the triple digits so this is definitely doing it's job suppling me with clean water to both my sink and my refrigerator for water and ice.

severe pressure drop..
I had a plumber install under kitchen sink on cold water side. This company claims up to two gallons per minute but I am getting only a half gallon per minute. I do not think anyone would be happy with this. The hot water side supplies over two gallons per minute.

Glad I have the standard.
The water filter I installed a couple of months ago has greatly reduced the water flow way too much. It must be a premium. As described the premium models don't have the normal water flow. I'm so glad to get a hold of this standard. Installation is a breeze. To be honest with you, I usually don't attach them to the side wall in the sink in my main bedroom bathroom. I've done it both ways. With the crammed quarters in there between my slide out vanity storage shelves etc. there is no chance it is going to tip over. Filtering your water is a great idea, and this one appears to do the job well.

A convert after my first glass
I couldn't be more happy with how this has changed the taste of our water coming out of our tap. To me, it tastes as good as any fancy bottled water out there. The installation was as simple as could be ... just a matter of mounting this under the sink and cutting and plugging in a few new water lines. I'm happy to be treating my body better, as well as doing a bit of good for the planet by removing my need for bottled water.

Almost Perfect
First, all the good stuff: 1. It's very easy to install (except--see end of this discussion) 2. Water flavor is great. I got very few black carbon granules when I first fired it up Then the "bad" (and it's not really bad at all) stuff: They don't tell you which port is IN and which one is OUT. The instructions don't show it actually hooked up. The way I figured it out was to look at the pictures--I think the third one down on the Amazon product page showed that the IN is on the LEFT when the unit is attached to the back wall under the cabinet, and the OUT is on the RIGHT. But with that said, installation took probably ten minutes: A couple of those minutes were used up finding a wrench and turning the water off under the sink. First, make sure that you leave adequate distance between the bottom of the filter cartridge and the floor of the sink so that you can replace cartridges. The instructions say 3 inches. Secondly, I drilled a couple of pilot holes on the wooden back plate of the cabinet rather than in the drywall. Then I screwed screws into the back plate and then dropped the filter assembly over the screws. That took care of the mounting. Next, I removed the COLD water connection at the valve under the sink. I pushed one end of the included rubber hose as far as it would go into the LEFT SIDE (IN) port on the filter. I made sure to leave a fair amount of service loop in the hose so that it wouldn't kink. I cut the hose off and slid the supplied brass nut onto the hose, followed by the plastic ferrule. I screwed the brass nut onto the threaded port on the supply valve. That took care of the supply side. Then I pushed the end of the remaining rubber hose into the RIGHT SIDE (OUT) port on the filter. I routed it to the tubing that was hanging down from above--that's the supply line to the faucet. I bent the tube a little to get a better angle for the hose. Then I screwed the threaded end of the included plastic adapter onto the nut that is on the end of the faucet tubing. Note: You'll need a second wrench of some sort to tighten that plastic fitting and faucet nut together. I found out the hard way when I turned on the water... But that's it--it's very easy to do. I recommend it.

Under sink water filter system
The filter system that I received matches its description. I was slightly surprised by the size of the filter as I had mentally pictured a typical refrigerator sized filter, however if I had looked closer and thought more about the dimensions in the product photos, I would not have been surprised. The standard water filter system's filter has NSF 42 and NSF 53 certification. This filter will be used for our drinking water faucet. This filter system is designed for filtering up to 2000 gallons before replacement.
