This fire alarm works really well! It comes with a ten year battery already inside alarm. It also has screws and a back that you install to the wall before you attach alarm in place. It's a very modern design. Has very simple instructions included that are easy to follow. Very easy to assemble. It's made very durable and with quality materials. It's the perfect size fire alarm and fits right where I need it too. It has a testing button so you can test it every so often to make sure it works. It has been effective for me by detecting any smoke very quickly. It has a very high pitch alarm that will easily wake me up during the night. I have been cooking recently and didn't notice a piece of food falling to the bottom of my oven and the alarm went off and alerted me before anything bad came about it. Very convenient alarm. Did not work.From the moment they were powered, each unit beeped out an alarm code not listed on the unit (2 beeps) then proceeded to begin beeping indefinitely. The silence/test button does literally nothing.Same behavior occurs inside, outside, anywhere.
