A really good piece of kit
After a little confusion with the wiring this is installed and working perfectly. It looks great and makes the monitoring of the temperature in the house very simple and it will make it possible to save money because we silly as it sounds by telling you what the actual temperature is it helps you to resist just putting the heating on just because it feels a bit chilly. The wiring was confusing because we had and old Honeywell mechanical thermostat with three wires, a live, neutral and switched live. The instructions have no clue as to how you would make this work. I contacted the seller and fair play to them they came back within the allotted time but the information they sent didn't help as I don't think they are familiar with the three wire scenario. The thermostat for boiler operation requires a live circuit to make the thermostat itself function then it requires a separate live circuit running through the actual switch in the thermostat to operate the boiler. It's not difficult to do but if you don't know how to make some non standard connections then you shouldn't be messing with electrical installations. Luckily somewhere in the deep dark past I worked in electronics so probably know more than the average man in the street but a little more information in the instruction manual would have made my installation quicker. Anyway, all's well that ends well and I am happy to say that this product is not bad at all!

Nice Display - Wire up as follows if you have this model (16A)
This unit has a clear display and hooked-up to my WIFI very easily. The instructions are very small print and hard to read. Some reviews talk about wiring up the unit and needing a bridge etc. This may be true for the model which has '3A Dry Contact' written on the back of the unit where the contacts are. However, my model has 16A written above N1 L1 contacts 3 and 4. For this model or version you do not need a bridge piece. You just wire Live and Neutral to L and N, contacts 1 and 2. The third wire which is the 240vac power back to the central heating/bolier to L1, contact 4. The picture should explain, its straightforward. This unit replaced an old rotary dial thermostat and it works aok.

V.Easy to setup and works
Having previously had more expensive versions such as Nest and other alternatives such as Meross, this comes in somewhere in between. Works well with an combi gas boiler for controlling heating only. Although instructions are vintage particularly helpful, the photo and suggestions provided by other users make installation a breeze. Also setting up the app, was very straightforward (unlike both Nest and Meross). The app has its limitations but does provide basic functions manual on/off, controlling temperature and setting up a weekly schedule. The option to add additional on/off time points would be helpful, as would the option to boost the heating for an hour or two before reverting back to the automatic mode (which is missing). Definitely would recommend as a cheaper alternative to Nest.

Wifi thermostat and controller
I’ve bought this wifi thermostat to replace my Beok one which wouldn’t connect to my new Wi-Fi.I can’t recommend this one. Number one, It works, number two it’s so easy to see even in the dark and number three it looks smart. Very good full marks

Junk, does not switch off and lots of reported problems in online forums
Installed this to control heating in a garden office building. Wired correctly but system stays on permanently and results in overheating. The problem lies in the dry switch component in the system. Looking online this is a common problem with these controllers. Have ordered a different manufacturer (despite being under different names on Amazon, most of this design are Tuya systems, sold under other brand names).

Cannot get in contact with seller for product support
Has been a great thermostat, until a small issue cropped up and theres no way to contact the seller. Amazon chat assistant will not let me contact the seller, nor is there any email address or option on the product page. Will update my review if the seller gets in contact.

Not enough information
UPDATE7 MONTHS ON AND IT KEEPS RESETTING IT'S SELF, UPON RESET IT DISCONNECTS FROM THE WIFI SO I HAVE TO KEEP PUTTING THE PASSWORD BACK IN THE APP.The wiring diagram is pants, it never mentioned that you have to put a live link or use the live out from the boiler, to make it work, you assume that the terminal marked with an arrow out is the return switch wire to the boiler, WiFi is easy to set up as long as you follow the on screen prompt ( on your phone)

Going strong.
Made for a great replacement for my old none-smart thermo, was easy to setup and install, and linked flawlessly with my Alexa systems at home. Can be voice controlled easily as you would expect, to which you hear a beep from the unit, clarifying a successful change.
