Bought for tikka chicken, works well!
Bought this to add to tikka marinade to get the red colour when grilling. Works really well, only need a tiny bit. Vibrant colour, no added taste.

Great for authentic looking chicken tikka
If you like the red coloured appearance of chicken tikka / tandoori chicken in Indian restaurants and takeaways then this food colouring produces that same vibrant red colour.

Not the bright red I expected.
While this product is definitely effective, bakers and confectioners be aware, it is not a poppy red, more of a rust/orange red. I think better suited to colouring savoury dishes such as curries/stews, rather than icing and cakes.The pack was also coated in powder which stained my hands and surface.
