This such a good book and I refer to it often for my westie. You will love this book!

The book is informative and full of information. However, I was disappointed with the lack of information aboutdetails of Westies as puppies. For instance, when do their ears stand up?/What happens if they don't?/ Did you know that some Westies have a slight color stripe down their back while they are pups? I didn't find this in the book but found this information at a breeder's website and I found the information important to me.Great book but lacking in detail.

I really love this book. It has everything you need to get to know the Westie breed of dogs and what you need to know in order to own one, how to care for it, its qualities, characteristics. If you are considering getting a Westie, this book would be helpful in makeing that decision. It covered so many areas of information. Very informative. Worth it.

I'm getting a Westie puppy and i bought this book...Very,very good. Good information and history. I really recommended it ! I bought as well The West Highland White Terrier (Terra-Nova) but this one is much better. Great pics too.
