When received, THE PACKAGING said I was getting a Replacement Video Battery for the PV-BP15 and BP-17, not the BP-18 that I had ordered. The vendor (Green Planet) responded to my complaint and said that this battery was 100% universal, and would work just fine in my video camera regardless of what it did not say on the packaging. I then tried it and it fit and worked just fine. I recommended to the vendor that they include a instruction to this effect along with shipment of this battery to people ordering the BP-18 which would save those customers a lot of aggravation and extra effort before trying the battery and would also eliminate some returns of that battery since the packaging does not say it is for replacement of the PV-BP18.

Had an old Panasonic hand held palm camera. Found it and some old tapes from 2002 - 2004 just couldn’t play them for more than 5 minutes on the old battery. We can now watch my son’s old band competition and our granddaughter in her first Christmas as a toddler. This battery has a good battery life and was a lot less expensive then I had thought it would be. Thank you.

This battery wasn't exactly the same size as my original one but it works great. It was a great price too. I would definitely say this was worth the small investment. If you don't need a battery already for your camera, just get it to have one ready if you are going to be using your camera a lot in one day and you will have extra power for the camera. It is always nice to have an extra battery for extra special days so you don't miss anything going on.

Works like a battery should work.. Grateful it was still available.. I have a ton of videos on my camcorder from the 90s and early 2000s. I want to get the tape onto digital as soon as possible. First step was seeing if the camera still worked. It does. Thank you

I bought this product to replace a Panasonic battery pack PV-BP18. While the product works to provide power to my video recorder, there are a couple minor annoyances with this battery for my device. 1) The battery charge only lasts about 30 minutes. It takes about two hours to recharge it, but I expected a longer battery life before having to recharge. 2) There is something different with how it slides onto the video recorder. While the connection face of it looks identical to the battery it is replacing, it takes some manipulation to install and eject the battery that is different than to original battery.
