After confirming your part number, the install is not too complicated and it fit exactly like the original one. As shown in the pic, it is buried within the ice maker, so it’s not like changing a fuse or lightbulb. You’ll have to be at least somewhat handy. You have to put a blob of dielectric grease so it fully absorbs the heat/cold against the ice tray but I just scraped up and reused the old grease. I tested the old Thermostatas bad and pre tested the new one; “Open” (Circuit) Warm, “Closed” Cold- Perfect! The price was much less than the fancy appliance parts stores, shipping was much faster, and it looks like the exact same quality. Six months later and it’s still working perfectly. The old one was bloated from moisture leaking into it, but this one is still going strong. A+++++
