Julian Taylor Women's Plus Size Short Sleeve Wavy Knit Dress

This is a conservative dress, which is fine, but the sleeves make it look really matronly. I LOVE the color. I LOVE the waves in the material, and I really like the material itself. But the dress runs large, plus has a lot of stretch, which adds up to needing a smaller size. I generally wear a size 18/20, so I ordered a size 20 in this dress just to be safe. It's just way too big. I can easily, without any trouble at all, take it off and on without the need to unzip it. Should have bought a 18. I thought about exchanging it for a smaller size, but I really can't get past the length of the sleeves. If the sleeves were more of a cap sleeve, it would look great if I exchanged it for an 18! However, the sleeves are just too long, too matronly, and I just feel like an old lady in this dress. I'm returning it and not exchanging it.

I've tried it on and love the fit, for me it was a good fit on a size 24, like true to size. I ordered this for Easter and I'm excited to wear it. The material is not to heavy so it will be great in the summer I was pleasantly surprised, I was worried about the design on it but it is lovely. I would say that I would love to see more dresses like this and in more colors.

This dress was bought in 2015 and it is my favorite. It requires no ironing, is comfortable and looks nice. It was a bit big and I had to alter it or I would give it 5 stars.

I'm so glad I read reviews of this dress, because I ordered a size smaller than I would have. It's still plenty big, but the design and the color are gorgeous! I love the length, the stretchiness and weight of the fabric, and how comfortable it is.This is a dress that can go anywhere. Wear a hat and gloves with it to a wedding for a darling "Mad Men" vibe, or wear it to a PTA meeting to impress your kid's teachers. Church, cocktail party, city council meeting; you'll have them all covered!

This dress is very flattering to a plus-size, or curvy figure. But I couldn't handle the 95% poly fabric for spring/summer wear -- too hot and not breathable. If you are used to poly, or live in a cooler place, you may like it.

Nice fabric and a pretty color. The body of the dress fit as expected but it was too short for me. Had to send it back.

love the dress but could have used misses 16 instead. based my size ordered by dimensions given on the chart.

This is a beautiful color dress and I'm between sizes so its a little big but I love the fabric and I will keep this dress very comfortable and will wear on my cruise in April. If you are between sizes order the next size down.
