LeapFrogBuild-a-Waffle Learning Set

My daughter who is 4 loves this waffle maker. It is such a cute set for the money. It is very durable and has great colors.

Our grandson got so much play time from the Leap Frog Choppin' Fun Learning Pot (food pieces, cutting board and crockpot type toy) that I decided to get this Leap Frog waffle set. Like the crockpot, the toy first becomes interesting because of the buttons, lights, sounds and music. Then later serious cooking/serving play starts. I almost deleted a star because I am very tired of toys that come with a dozen or more loose parts and no built in storage or storage box included. And I wish the price were a teeny bit lower. I'd recommend this as a gift as well. FYI: LeapFrog is a subsidiary of VTech. The item was made in China.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fun play food toy. I was hoping the waffle maker would say something about the colors of the waffles or something when putting them in and out, which it does not do, but it does count the pieces which is good for learning. It also plays some cute tunes and whatnot.I think the thing we will get the most out of is just playing with it as toy food. My kids (1.5 and 4 years) enjoy playing with pretend food. This is a cute set.

There is not much to this toy waffle maker, it is easy to interact with and you can control the volume. It is well suited for little hands, my toddler and his older cousins love playing with this toy when they use the play kitchen. You are able to split up the waffle and the toppings don't come apart making this a safe toy. The plastic pieces are well made and durable, they are also colorful making this a great addition to any play kitchen.

This waffle maker set is really great for pretend play. We have a play kitchen for our 2 and 6 year old and this was a great addition that they love. They make waffles to go along with other foods and it's great how the waffles can be flipped over for a different "flavor" and how it comes with choices of different toppings. Highly recommend for a waffle set for imaginative play!

My little one enjoys this toy very much, and loves to grab it during our learning play time.However, my only complaint is the “waffle maker”The plate does not come up high enough to actually hold the 4 waffle sections, and the pieces slide around to the point of causing frustration for my little one, because if they are not set inside the individualized compartments, they slide right out, or all around. It requires my assistance or at least guidance, for a 2 year old developing fine and gross motor skills.Overall, as a Leapfrog learning toy, it offers various educational aspects of learning, and there are other ways to encourage motor skills and creative/imaginative play, such as placing the toppings, switching the number dial, flipping the waffles to plain side vs frosted side, etc.Decently priced, speakers work well with options for volume control/adjustment, and a wide range of learning songs

My kids love playing with this waffle toy. They like to pretend to make each other waffles. I like the included knife. They have other toys that are similar, but none came with a knife, so they can use this with their other toys now. The sounds help them be interactive by encouraging them to follow commands. Everything about this toy is awesome.
