Minor Problems but nice ride UPDATE: I ride it every day.
Update. Feb 11, 2015I ride this Torker lx 26 incher unicycle every day. I do my trials practice on a Torker cx20 incher, and then do a rolling jump mount and slalom up and down the street and practice circles and figure 8s on this lx 26er to finish off my workout. Lots of fun and exercise and often I do this twice daily. The seat clamp I wrote about below has worked fine with the replacement bolts I bought. After I removed the grease from the seat post, it tightened up and held well. I have only knocked the seat crooked a couple of times after hard falls.. you have to accept that will happen if you want an adjustable seat and do some hard fast riding.I put shorter cranks on it.. 150s and it is much faster and smoother to ride. The longer cranks it ships with (about 170s) are ok to learn on but not as good as 150s to ride fast and slalom on. I tried shorter cranks (120 and 140s) which are faster but settled on the 150s for both speed and maneuverability.I put the original seat back on and really like it now. The wheel and tire are very good also.If you are willing to do some mods, this can be a very nice uni and I got a great price on Amazon. Other than the original seat clamp bolts that came with mine which were just plain wrong, it ships nice (The scratches on the clamp dont bother me), and can be personalized to be a great ride. I am considering purchasing the Torker LX 20 for my trials. If they sold it in a 29er with a great price I would buy that too.Original post:My Torker LX 26er arrived today right on time. Unfortunately right away I knew there would be an issue with the seat clamp because it was pre installed and the paint was seriously scratched on top. I also do NOT like the design of the clamp. When I put the seat on the screws striped out with the first turns, even before it tightened up. The screws are too short (and probably too soft) and not enough threads are in before they begin to tighten up. I went to my hardware store, bought two identical screws that were just a little longer, added a couple of lock washers, and it tightened up beautifully. I removed the grease that the instructions called for on the seat post. I rode it in the dark tonight, and it rides and mounts beautifully.I do not like my 20 inch torker style seats because they are too narrow in the middle. This 26er seat is better though, but still just a bit narrow in the middle. I have Ramiko seats I bought on Amazon, love them, and will try one..I do like the front handle on this 26er seat.I got a great price by waiting and watching so overall I am happy with the deal, but it should not have arrived with a scratched clamp and with screws do not properly tighten. The replacement screws cost only a dollar for both, but it was a hassle to go out and get them.

Perfect for my son, an almost beginner, who wants a variety of uses.
The 24" Torker is perfect for my son, who is just shy of being the right size for the 24" and too big for the 20". He's on the verge of a big growth spurt, we are sure, so it was a little confusing on where to put the $. When he got it on Christmas we thought we'd have to send it back as he couldn't reach the pedals. :-( Instead we adapted it with a quick fix, cutting the stem off one inch. It was a gamble that he was willing to take and it panned out well. He loves it and has plenty of stem to grow into. He can still enjoy his friend's 20" when they ride together, but agrees this was the way to go. It's sturdy and well made and I'm quite pleased with the purchase. His friend appreciates the seat quality, stating that the handle is superior to his Torker 20" and now he's psyched to move up when he grows tall enough. The ride is faster but still easy to do tricks at their level.

Great unicycle!
I've had my LX for about a month and it's been very good. The seat is comfortable. It has a very solid feel to it. It's definitely sturdy and I expect that it'll last for years to come.My only complaint is the seatpost clamp. It requires a hex wrench and has come loose a couple times while riding allowing the seat to twist. So, I just need to make sure I have the wrench handy when I'm riding.

Great unicyle for a good price.
Great unicycle. I had to cut the seat post down a bit as it was too tall for me; I'm 5' 9". I should have gotten a 24". I'm 49 and haven't ridden since I was a teenager but I can still ride, but a 24" would have been a better fit to re-start. Still, I love riding and its great exercise.

THE BEST
the seat post only goes down so far. I'm 5'6" and had to cut 5" off the post so it could go low enough for my inseam, but now it fits and rides beautifully!!!! I'm a firm believer in big wheel unis, and this is the best it gets.

seems to be good for the price
seems to be good for the price. the only problem out of the box was the lack of a quick release for the seat. you need allen wrench any time you would like to change seat height. I have three kids of differing heights so this issue is a hassle.

great buy
Since this is my first uni I can't compare it with others as far as comfort or durability but for price, I'm very happy with my purchase. At first I thought it was to big for me even with the seat all the way down but after watching a few videos online, found that it's the perfect size( I'm 5'7" with a 31" inseam) I actually found that I feel more balanced with the seat post up higher. Which brings me to the 1 dislike- the seat is not comfortable, its really hard and it doesn't seem to be compatible with other brands but I did get used to it. Overall im totally happy I got this one, couldn't have gotten better for the price

should increase the price $10 and ship with a decent seat clamp
Got this as a birthday gift, and we spent another $30 on multiple orders of seat clamps until we found the right one to replace the crappy one that came with this. The cheap one this has means EVERY time you drop the uni -which is normal use of a unicycle - the seat goes out of whack. Further, you can't tighten it enough to keep the seat in place. Pretty frustrating.
