Camping Gaz THP3000 High Power Gas Torch with Gas

Fast delivery works well.Need a bit long time to warm up. If you do not respect this the torch will blow out. (as described in the manual). After this period the torch is hot and burns with a good size flame.Fast delivery.

I got this to weld aluminium and when i test it did the job quick, very good, just a shame the extra tips does come with it, u need to buy the separate.

The product arrived promptly, very well packaged and in good order. Easy to start and as previously mentioned give it a few seconds to warm up and it produces a strong flame which is easy to control.

As a beekeeper I bought this to light my smoker, it's a bit of overkill and although not as cheap as using matches it's certainly easier :)Lighting the torch with the electronic ignition, which is not mentioned in the description, needs the valve to be opened a very small amount. Once the flame is established though it is very stable.The plastic (not wire) stand gives the torch a nice stable base.

Great little burner, needed it to heat the seized wheel nuts on my car.

The first time we used this a short time after lighting it started to 'pop' and 'hiss' and then we noticed that the black 'innards' of nozzle were actually melting and bubbling out of the metal housing. A manufacturing fault? Potentially very dangerous.

This is not true Camping Gaz quality. It goes out easily and the flame strength varies if you move the torch around or from hand to hand. It's not rubbish but its not far short of rubbish. The metal stand for holding the torch in the horizontal position is ridiculously poor and gives way under the weight of the torch. Bad overall design poorly manufactured. I bought two and we had to use them as no time to send back and re-order but my 30 year old Camping Gaz blowtorch was far better...until it was stolen.I would not buy this again.
