Remote not needed
My last TV had a separate inputs box, with a single wire up to the TV. It made it so much neater. My new TV didn't have enough inputs and this solves the problem neatly. I've never had to use the remote, but we do switch off devices not in use.

Excellent quality 48gbps switch
Very high quality 5 way hdmi switch, supports hdmi 2.1 fully, including VRR. Well made case, usb type c powered. Poor remote, but funtional and still better than other switches.

Great product, although the remote is terrible
Product is great, I’m able to get 120Hz out the consoles, but the remote is rubbish, it takes about 20 attempts to switch the port, even when the port is active

Used for 3 weeks now, no problems found, works as as hoped for.
My LG TV has only 2 x HDMI 2.1 ports (& 2 x HDMI 2.0) one of which is used for an e-arc connected sound bar. Leaving only 1 HDMI 2.1 port free, for sky, PS5, Laptop and occasional Xbox connection. The 5 port switch leaves me a spare connection.Plus the TV is so stupidly thin, I didn’t want to lift and move the TV aside multiple times and risk damaging it or in time the tv’s HDMI port.The switch thus far (3 weeks) has worked flawlessly. It seems to determine the latest switched on device.Has a clear UHD HDR picture, thus far very happy.

Devices must be turned on for the switch to work. It is well built with full metal construction and works out of the box flawlessly.

Avidgram HDMI Switch works Perfectly at 4k 120hz w/ HDR and VRR
I purchased this switch so that i didn't have to upgrade my Denon X3600H receiver in order to take full advantage of my new Sony Bravia 7 85" tv. This switch is passing 4k 120Hz w/ HDR & VRR from my PS5 with no issues at all and also works great with my Nintendo Switch, Wii U, and Recalbox PC (Emulators).My PS5 is connected to the switch via a 6ft Cable Matters HDMI 2.1 certified cable and the Avidgram switch is connected to the tv with a Cable Matters 33ft (10m) Optical HDMI 2.1 certified cable.Also, auto switching is working perfectly for me.
